دیو
دیو یکی از واژه های کهن و قدمت آن به دوران آریاییان می رسد. دیوان گروهی از پروردگاران آریائی بوده اند. پس از جدائی ایرانیان از هندوان و ظهور زرتشت پروردگاران مشترک قدیم یعنی دیوها که مورد پرستش هندوان بودند، نزد ایرانیان گمراه کنندگان و شیاطین خوانده شدند. چنانکه در آئین مزدیسنا کلاً به مردم بدمنش هم اطلاق می شود. واژهٔ دیو در اوستا به صورت دَئوَ و در پهلوی دِو و در فارسی دیو گفته می شود. در زبان هند باستان دِوَ یا دَئوه به معنی فروغ و روشنائی و نام خداست. اشتقاق این واژه در میان اقوام آریائی نیز معنی خدا دارد چنانکه در یونانی زئوس و در لاتینی دَئوس در فرانسه دی اُ و در انگلیسی دِئیتی و در ایرلندی دیابکار می رود.دیو یک کلمهٔ سانسکریت است و در دین هندوئیسم به معنی خدا و الوهیت است. در هندوئیسم مدرن، می توان آن را آزادانه به هر موجود خیرخواه خارج از جهان مادی اطلاق کرد. دیوها همچنین نابرادری اسوراها به شمار می آیند که قدرتی هم پایه دارند. دیوها همواره با اسوراها در حال جنگ هستند.

Meanwhile not that anyone cares because there is a certain biase against small clubs, Naft beat Saipa 3-1, and move to the top of the table, they are the real deal and with only 10 matchdays left they can become champions. Some info on Naft, they have actually gained a small fan base in Tehran which is EXCELLENT in the footballing point of view. Last year there would be no spectators at Naft games, but now there is 100 NAFT fans (not away fans), this might no seem much but it is a first step and shows how with professionalism and proper organization football clubs can run successfully. Some people call Sepahan or Foolad the most professional club but for me %100 it is Naft Tehran. They are a invaluable addition to our football.

Shahbazzadeh now 1 goal away from tying Edinho as the top goal scorer. He has 11 goals now.

Equally impressive Amir Arsalan Motahari (U-22) scored two goals for Naft and is now tied for the top goal scorer in Naft (with Leonardo and Rezaei) and for 5th place in the overall table with 5 goals. He's usually used as a sub if he gets any playing time, so 5 goals is pretty impressive for the young lad.

Ebrahimi's FKs are so good. He, Nekounam and Hajsafi are definitely the best Iranian FK takers. He's a quality player, no wonder CQ regularly invites him to TM.
