He's a decent coach, but needs to control himself in some aspects.
The way he dealt with some of his players after committing errors was a bit controversial. An example is Hamed lak who was almost deported from the club for a couple of bad performances.

I wonder if his coaching career is going to be anything like his playing career. Different club every year!

Missed an empty net? He missed from a difficult angle with the GK in front of him. How is that an empty net?

His finishing was indeed horrible sometimes and I personally didn't like him as a player at all, but his coaching career has been very impressive thus far.

Never liked him as a player, don't know much about his coaching.

He cost us the 2007 Asian Cup with that horrid pk!

After the 8-0ers I think it's safe to say we are the worst when it comes to firing coaches. Absolutely pathetic and there is nothing more to it than that

He seemed like a good coach for the club and got decent results, this is a bad move.

fire the team not the coach! Khatibi did well for Tractor and gauging his performance over one game is ridiculous and short sighted. something common in IRan these days....

i think his firing is not due to results but political. he had gotten mixed up (whether on purpose or unintentional) with some separatist propaganda. it could be a baseless rumor but usually where there is smoke there is a fire.

As a player he didn't change clubs a lot. He was with Sepahan at least 4 seasons.

Now only if we could give some "Tractor treatment" to CQ.

he was a good club player during his spell at Sepahan, but he never did well for team melli.
