Because I know people who have donated, and to be honest, I've not seen any improvements made since I became a member here.

I run a few websites. there are costs to maintain any website. One of the sites which I support gets attacked with malware and DDOS. I was told the attackers pay a lot of money to initiate these attacks.

There are changes. Someone has to make them. Nothing is free. Besides, it is a good social responsibility to pay for the services that one gets.

That's one expense. But I would like to see the money being used towards actually improving the site. Especially if its coming from fan donations.
