I didn't see the last 5 minutes of the game, but they very were worthy and hard working opponents and well deserving of going pretty far in this tournament. Of course, Thailand are no push-overs either (3-time WC participants if I'm not mistaken), so overall this is by far the toughest group. We did miss some really good chances too.

this team is not unbeatable as some people think. they had their prime in 2012/2013 but they are on decline. it happens when you use the same group of players for more than 10 years !

Lebanon beat Thailand in overtime which means Iran already secured a place in quarterfinal. but in Group C, UAE just lost to Uzbekistan, which means if Iran top the group D (likely to happen) we have to play the worst possible opponent UAE in do or die quarter-final match. UAE was always a tough opponent for Iran in beach soccer.
