Objectively, I think he has the ability to play for some teams which can play ACL games, not only in China but also in Korea or Japan.

I'm just a little curious about your (pl.) attitudes towards the Arab leagues, because nowadays Saudi Arabian and Qatar leagues seems also developing very fast
Saudi Arabian league is not bad but no Iranian player is invited. KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) is considered enemy territory for Iranians and no Iranian can travel there without government authorization which means we can not just buy ticket and go there even if we have their visa. It is most about Middle East politics, and rivalry of Iran vs Saudi Arabia

Qatar is a small and super rich country. Their league is developing but it is not even close to many high standard Asian leagues. All Korean, Japanese, Australian or Iranian footballers who joined Qatar Star League (QSL) lost their fitness and got lazy. Koreans saw this in their national team before the rest. Iran has experienced this very recently. The money is very good but training are very loose, so playing one or two seasons in Qatar can ruin the career of good players. Korean players realize this and now are leaving QSL. Iranian players are still there for the money. That is why Iranian fans hate QSL patiently and whoever join another Qatari club is seen as a traitor to our national team. This is purely based on the experience and losing fitness. Most of our best NT players who went there have been performing really bad in recent friendly matches. So the move to QSL is seen only for financial reason not career development.

Joining QSL is turning as equivalent of laziness and materialistic life in contrast to hardworking, career development, and love of national team which has been the motto of Iranian football for many years.

Joining European clubs which have high standards of training and fierce competition for every single position and at the same time the income is medium is praised among Iranian football fans. But Arab leagues pay even more money for a performance that even Iranian clubs do not accept, as a result some are sucker for the easy money ...

It is satisfying to see that Morteza has found himself a new home in China. He is happy there and he got support from the fans which is very influential on his performances!

I hope that he gets injured less, impresses the EU scouts with his performances and earns himself a transfer to an European team.

Agree with everything you say, but I doubt he materializes any EU transfer from Chinese league. Chinese league is a target destination for European based players not a jumping point for players to European leagues! In other words Europe exports players to China and does not necessarily import them from there.

I give him the same chances of going to Europe than if he was still with Naft

Out of all our legionaries, I think Morteza is having the most fun.

Fans love, he is a well respected player in the league and is living in a cool country.

From the looks of it he is definitely having a nice time at Tianjin. I wish more of our legionnaires opted for East-Asian leagues (Japan, Korea and China). More fans, better football and it has more international reputation / exposure than Qatar.

In general, Iranian players should for ever be banned from going to Al Soosk Shotor Gutter leagues.

Great win for Teda. Their fourth consecutive one if i'm not mistaken. Congrats to Teda fans and Morteza.

From Morteza's instagram posts it's obvious he is having a good time there.
