I hope we find the opportunity to show himself once more. He needs his mother to make good food for him and make him fat for the time being! He should regain his solid fitness back pretty soon.
Transfermarkt doesn't mention player salaries so I'm not sure how you got that info. If it's the 500K euros, then it's his market value, if it's the 500K dollars, then that's the fee that Naft got by selling him to Tianjin. I remember Tehran times mentioned that his salary was 1.5 million $ for his 1 year contract if Im not mistaking which is a great salary even by IPL standards.

But I agree thankfully he didn't get a severe injury at least especially with his "risky" playing style.

China has started taxing foreigners who work or play in China. In addition, China is not cheap to leave. Cost of food, for example is high. In order to increase yield, Chinese farmers have started using heavy amounts of fertilizers and pesticides.

I remember he mentioned he did not like Chinese food. Chinese food that people in China tastes different than Chinese food for example in Canada.

If he's coming back to Iran, I think going to Naft would be wise.

Pouraliganji is one of those players who is very hard to not love.

It's a shame it seems he will not be heading to Europe..
Been too long since we had a European defender..

I never thought he was good enough for Europe. His only choices were IPL or China and if you read the articles before he made his transfer he talked to a few legionnaires and CQ that told him China was the better move.
You guys make it seem like half of Europe was calling to sign him.

So the rumor that pouraliganji was going back to Iran was complete bs by the iranian media like usual.
-In an interview today after his teams win he says his priority is still going to Europe
-He says he doesnt want to go to a situation where its a big team or league but he gets no playing time so he wants to take the right steps for his development even if its playing for a smaller european team
-He says he has an offer from a Japanese league team but wont look into that unless there is no european options
-He says he's not looking at going back to iran right now

Japan could be an "easier" way to go to Europe.

Pouraliganji played well today vs Beijin Guoan (4th in CSL). Important win for Tianjin Teda

it would have been better if he had gone to the j league instead of the chinese league.

In case he ends up with no European offers, he should try his luck in J-League. It's still one of the most competitive in Asia, together with South Korea. Best would be if the interested team competes in ACL as well, there is no point in joining a bottom table team. I will take Japan over UAE and Qatar.

I was just re-watching Pouraliganji's performances during the Asian Cup, they were amazing. He was full of passion and he did outstanding with very few experience on big stage. His header against Iraq and the eruption afterwards is still fresh on my mind
