I would never want Azmoun in the EPL. That league is a nightmare to be a striker and he could get deposed of after 2-3 bad performances. The only players of ours who should go to EPL are DMs/centerbacks/or wingers (Dejagah type not Jahanbakhsh type)

From the Russian media on Azmoun and the match against Dynamo Moscow:
"The team played great pace from the first minute, so it was something to see . Do the owners on the cutting edge Azmun was much more noticeable, constantly breaking out in the space. In one scene, he is "gnawing" ball Gubochana , ran at an angle to one another. In another moment the Iranian still disturbed Gabulov , but the surprise is not found."

Azmoun was highlighted as one of the two best Rosotv players for todays match:
""Rostov" and the Moscow "Dynamo" were unable to identify the winner. The match took place in Rostov and ended with the score 2: 2. As part of the home team excelled Sardar Azmoun (51) and Bastos (80). "

Rostov Coach Kurban Berdyev on Azmoun:
"- Azmun came from the first minutes of the match. This is due to tactical considerations?
No, who is stronger and prepared, he is playing."

Sardar Azmoun @ FK Rostov | 2015
Rostov coach just called Azmoun 'strong'.
Is he actually any good a one-on-battles with defenders?
From Asian Cup, Azmoun looks like he could do the business with a mid EPL team like a swansea, west ham or even Aston villa although they are close to relegation.
He is a very nimble player, but if what the Rostov coach says is true in that he can win physical duels, then he will be as good in the premier league as peanut butter is with jelly!

Have you watched him play? or more importantly his goals? He is a very physically strong player, he wouldnt survive in russia if he wasnt. A lot of his goals and breakaways are also from winning physical battles. Refer to his goal in a friendly vs iraq. I watch almost all his games live when he plays in russia.
Good on the coach to give such a honest and unbaised statement

"“I Will Return to Rubin Kazan” – Sardar Azmoun
Tasnim – ROSTOV-ON-DON, Sardar Azmoun said that he will return to Rubin Kazan after the end of the current Russian Premier League.
The 21-year-old striker joined FC Rostov on loan from Rubin Kazan for the rest of the season in February to help Kurban Berdyev’s team to avoid relegation.
“Our players are determined to avoid relegation. We are 11th at the moment and want to climb in the table,” Azmoun told the Tasnim news agency.
“I am happy to help Rostov with my goals. The main task of a striker is to score,” he added.
“My contract with Rostov will expire at the end of the 2014-15 campaign and I will return to Rubin Kazan,” the Iranian striker stated, adding, “I will talk to Rubin Kazan’s officials and maybe I will go to the new team. I’ve two years left on my contract.”"

Time flies man, he is already 21. Feel like a few months ago when he moved to RK at the age of 18-19. All the hype surrounding him joining clubs like Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City etc. were all just rumors I guess? He was loaned to a low ranking Russian league at the verge of relegation, and we're all hoping that he would get back to Rubin Kazan upon termination of the season, where he is not thoroughly respected and barely gets to play regularly.

im fairly certain there has been some early inquiries from Arsenal, but no serious offer..!!
i still think he will get transferred to a better league/team before the beginning of the next season..! he is too good and relatively a cheap and highly promising talent. only a ridiculously high asking transfer fee from Rubin would halt his likely transfer..!
i think if Rubin pulls that shitt, then they better be fking ready to offer him much more consistent playing minutes next season.!
