Jean Ghafourian is a German-Iranian footballer who currently plays for Bayer Leverkusen U-17 as a DM or CM.

He is 17 years old and has a contract with Bayer Leverkusen till 2016. According to Transfermarkt, he is already moving to the U-19 team in July this year. He is playing in the highest youth league of Germany, Bundesliga B-Junioren West.

I found him during Googling and searching for Iranian players abroad. Considering he is playing regularly for their youth team, we maybe have a talent who should be picked up by IFF and recruited for our Omid team.

Last, he is in the squad in the UEFA Youth Champions league although he has not made an appearance.

Aziz our Omid players are not amputee's. Believe it or not they are very good at football, this kid would get eaten alive if he plays with almost fully matured players, test him for the u-20s or u-17s but i dont think he will be selected for our u-20 squad.

Where did I say that our Omid players are amputees?

I believe we have talent inside Iran, and that our Omid team is good in football. Never said anything different.

But we have a small group of players abroad (Hakimzadeh included) who might be beneficial to our team, and seeing how Ghafourian is playing for a good team Bayer Leverkusen and not some fifth division regional club, I don't think it would be wrong to give him a try-out for TM Youth or at least follow him to see how this develops.

I have never seen him play, but watching the stats he is a fixed player for a decent team Leverkusen who plays in the Bundesliga youth. Honestly judging from that he must have some talent, no?

Don't pay attention to him. He has man boobs.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

I agree with you, I didn't mean anything personal about our Omid players and amputees. There is no doubt he is talented playing for a German Bundesliga club, but a 17 year old playing with 22/23 year professionals would get butchered. That is why I said he should be tested for U-17 team.

I found another player who plays at the B-Juniors Championship. His name is Darius Jalinousand he is 17 years old. He is a starter who plays for Ingolstadt u17 and is a CM. Ingolstadt plays in the second highest division in germany but they will probably be in the bundesliga next year because they are on the top of the table.

Edit: And another iranian player who plays for Freiburg U17 with only 16 years!!! His name is Kamran Yahyaijan, is a striker and scored 3 goals and 2 assists in 11 games for the u17 team.

Well, our friends from South Korea have a gem playing for Barcelona, Seung Woo Lee.

Scored 38 goals in 35 games...see for yourself.

Darius Jalinous just moved up to the FC Ingolstadt II team as well who are in the 4th division of Germany. For a 17 year old, he is only one step away from the 3.Bundesliga (fully professional league) which is not bad for his age. One player to keep an eye on for TM!

They should be considered for our U-23 team in their qualification road to the Olympics.
