Sorry but you should try to play in a decent league to play for Iran, Liga Adelante or Championship etc are still decent for Team Melli.
    He isn't.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

That's like saying one of our members should be called up to the national team because he plays in the Dutch 4th division (no offence)
We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

You guys are so quick to jump the gun. Let me remind you Dejagah played for Hertha Berlin II in Germany's 3rd division for 3 or 4 years around this kids age. Who knows what he will be like in 5 years with good coaching and scouting he could elevate his game and move to a better team. You get mad when a guy like Hagesewa declines TM so don't exclude any player as a potential option cause if this kid hits it big and declines TM then you same folks will be pretty angry! TM coaching staff will likely evaluate anyone worthy of a callup.

The 4th division of Switzerland is another story than the 4th league of Germany as the latter is much stronger and are actually close to pro since they are semi's. The 4th league of Swiss are purely amateurs, and you want them to be considered? And I would love to see an interview where Hasegawa says he rejects Team Melli.

no one is saying he should be invited ASAP. all the poor guy said was he should be somewhat on CQ's radar! if he gets any better offers from better leagues or he starts shinning then we go after him and bring him in and give him a chance. no one is saying invite him now and give him the starting spot. sure, if he progresses and gets better offers , he'll be a good bench player.

I play in the 4th league of Holland as a playmaker for SVV Scheveningen. Can I be under CQ's radar too then?

how do you know you arent ?

all im saying is, you were the only one that was pulling for aria and literally his only fan on here. you know how it sucks to get bashed on by other members for trying to recruit players to TM! even if they are TM level or not. this guy was just letting us know that this persian player exists and if we want we should follow him.

Everyone has to start somewhere do they not? Maybe the kid had access or an in with the swiss league. Don't judge him until you have seen him play. Of course he doesn't deserve an automatic spot or even an invite but it can't hurt to follow his league. At this stage he has just as much a chance of playing for TM as any other player if he continues to develope and progress.

Didn't Hagesawa get invited several times already? Didn't his father say he is at present unwilling to give up Japanese citizenship for TM?

Usually, if you are a decent footballer you shouldn't be in the fourth league of Switzerland when you are 22 years old. I doubt very much that the scouting staff of Team Melli would go after such player all the way to Switzerland to watch a regional football game when we have much better options inside Iran. I am not against inviting players from professional and somewhat competitive leagues like 3.Bundesliga and League One, but we are not in the position to invite amateur-level players. If we were with all due respect Philippines or Palestine, then it would have been reasonable to collect all players from abroad because there are no better domestic alternatives.

If you start late you can be. And no offense, but we recently drew Turkmenistan and lost to Lebanon not too long ago. Swiss 4th league in my book is not too far off from players playing in the leagues Turkmenistani and Lebanese are playing in at present. Again no one said invite the guy...just keep him on the radar. You don't have to fly to Switzerland to do that. If he improves and moves up why not?

We are currently ranked 38th in the world, one disappointing performance against Turkmenistan or Lebanon doesn't changes that.

The point is that there is no possibility to follow this Shaho Maroufi guy because the 4th league of Switzerland has no TV coverage.
