So when do we just cap them for fun? To cap tie a player it has to be a competitive game. I don't think queiroz is going to risk a bunch of 3rd and 4th division players to see how good they are in an important game. It makes much more sense to play them at the u17, u20, and u23 level to see how good they are instead of just giving them a go in tm.

Unless it's an official game (friendlies not included), you can't cap-tie a player. If Dejagah was called up for Germany's NT in a friendly for example and played, he still can play for either Iran or Germany

thats why you invite them to camp, the ones that impress stay, the ones that do not, get cut. lets say out of for example 12 players invited from europe , 3 of them impress . they get to sit on the bench for a official game and if we are winning with a goal margin bigger than 2 we can sub them on, if not then the next game and so on.

Official games are friendlies on fifa set dates. So if we play Bangladesh on a fifa friendly day that is an official game.

Zero, and Saeid has also played a youth World Cup in 2013 where he drew attention from many European scouts. Saeid has experience in playing in a senior league like IPL, while Martin yet has to make his debut in an Allsvenskan game.
