    What happened to Hossein Kaebi?

He seems to have fallen off the edge of the planet. Anyone got news on him? He's only 29 can't have retired.

Hahahaha lol! He is not 29! He lied about his age! He is actually 39-41 yrs old. I can't remember the exact age but there was news on him a few months back that he lied about being 8-12 years younger than he was. Again I can't remember the exact age but he is definitely much older than 29.

I believe he is having his 16th birthday tomorrow, and will resume highschool along side playing for TM omid.

                  you guys.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

He always had make-up on his face. I think thats the reason why no one noticed his real age when he used to play for TM Omid

I made a thread about this and people said he's in construction now and living a quiet life with his family.

The jokes are all in bad taste. Hossein Kaebi played 84 games for the national team and was a driven and hardworking player throughout his entire tenure. The age issue is indeed a misdemeanor on his part but so it the reaction that people are showing here.

It's amazing how we'll throw one of our own under the bus just to attain the most minuscule amount of entertainment and pleasure.

We have some who condemn him because of the age issue - which he recieved a lot of flak for - yet these same people give a pass to teams like Iraq who systematically and yearly break age regulations.

He was an outstanding player for us and helped galvanized the notion that Iran can play with a modern 4-back system. This transition helped our football a great deal.

He is around and plays in Khuezestan province. I do not remember the name of his team.

He was a hard working and ba-gherat player. No one is perfect, so give him credit for his accomplishments and forget about his shortcomings.
