If Japan played with their A team then huge respect to Syria. There is not much difference between Group A & B. Only Saudis would be harder to deal but other than them both groups are equally strong.

Syria is not a bad team, they have lots of players in China, Qatar, UAE, and even Saudi league, their best forward Kharbin was on loan to Al-Hilal of Saudi and did pretty well and there is a chance they sign a contract with him, if Uzbeks lose against us and Syria beat China, they have serious chance to make the playoff even.
