The Pilipinos continue to impress me. I really hope they make it out of this group as at least the 2nd placed team at the expense of Uzbekistan and Bahrain. They just had a goalkeeping collapse against Uzbekistan at home, but other than that they've done really well, especially for a team that did not even participate in WC qualifiers until 1998.

BTW, the African qualification got under way today too... It's just the first round, so no big name teams until the 2nd round that starts next month.
