We have another three years left to integrate younger players and replace the oldtimers.
What? You honestly have no clue what you're talking about.
It's a bloody friendly! I don't care if we're playing the best team in the world! In a friendly game you let your youngsters and inexperienced players play not the older players who are going to retire before the next vital tournament!

What difference does it make if we win 6-0 or lose 6-0? Carlos should try out young players like Taremi not Masoud and Khosro...
I honestly hope, Queiroz leaves and I never see him anywhere near Iran, he doesn't give a damn about our national teams anyway. He defies Kafashian, doesn't allow Azmoun and Jahanbakhsh to help our Omid team reach the Olympics and cancels a friendly against Italy so we can go to South Africa and play against 3 shitty clubs.. FFS!

            Very uninspiring same-old more-old list!

After all those, we need more friendlies to try out new players and for our youngsters to get some international experience speeches, I for one was excepting a MUCH younger squad with quite a few new faces. I was certainly not expecting an older team than our WC and AC squads.

And I'm sorry, but I find the inclusion of Azmoun and JB after they were already placed on the U-22 squad VERY unprofessional. I don't care who is right in this case, but it should have been resolved behind closed doors between Kaffashian, CQ and Khakpour, rather than being dragged on and turned into a public display of hashiyeh and division.

As far as individual players, we have so many good and young talented forwards and AM's in the IPL at the moment, so the inclusion of players like Shojaei, Heydari and Ansarifard (who has barely got any playing time this season) makes absolutely no sense to me.

              Exactly my points!
In regards to the Azmoun and JB issue, Queiroz believes through Ferdoispoor and the support of media he has mass public support that allows him to do what he wants!
There are definitly certain people in this forum who blindly support Queiroz too and support all of his actions!

Because everything you wrote is very uninspiring and old.

Karimi was picked up when playing a friendly against Germany..

Now we will play 2 world class teams in friendlies, the spotlight will be there for once (contrary to asian cup where the whole world didn't give a d4mn sh1t). And the only thing CQ find is to call the same old players that didn't impress any european scout during WC and AC2015 and all their career! Is he going to call the same list for WC2018 and 2022?? We really don't have any young talent to promote and test?!

What if one of these old players "CQ favourite" got suspended or injuried when a crucial WCQ matches?! CQ is focusing all the experience of WC, AC and these 2 world class friendlies in a very limited pool of players.

Martin jaan, I really don't understand your need to resort to sarcasm. I expressed my opinion on the list (which I thought is the reason we have a forum in the 1st place) and I would be more than happy to read your personal thoughts on it.

I don't think my comments were in any way disrespectful, sarcastic or offensive to you to generate that kind of response. If you found them uninspiring and same-old more-old, then by all means please set the tone with a fresh approach and some inspiring comments to follow and build on.

I think that fresh approach could have been actually addressing the points I brought up by saying somethings like "you are incorrect, our team is actually younger than the WC and AC squads" or "I think it's great that CQ picked JB and Azmoun to air out IFF's dirty laundry in public" or "we don't have any young talented strikers and AM's in IPL, so the inclusion of Shojaei, Heydari and Karim makes total sense", etc.

I like the addition of Hassanzadeh. Would've liked it more if Sharifi was also invited.

I don't understand the inclusions of Gordani and Heydari. Heydari I can understand if he wanted younger players to learn from his experience, but you can't say the same for Gordani.

But it's great to see the future of TM in the likes of JB, Azmoun, Pouralganji.

unless he's injured which I don't so, it looks Pouladi's behavior in the AC cost him his future. Too bad, because he is our best LB

I think he would have been a different player if he was transferred to Hull City last summer.

He was a shadow of his former self during the Asian Cup while he had a superb World Cup.

Now, CQ is integrating Ghafouri in the squad as replacement.
