CQ will leave after Chili & Sweden Games

This looks more like an elaborate early April Fools joke to me than anything else.

Sure, there have been some clashes lately between CQ and the federation, but it makes no sense at all to make an announcement of the resignation at this point, unless Kaffashian wanted to take the pressure off everyone and do a reality check of where we would stand if CQ was to leave after these two games.

I suspect that if the result of the friendlies are poor, this may very well end up being the case and there will be some justification for it, but if the results are good, there's absolutely no way this is going to happen with this being the last TM camp before our 1st WCQ game.

i dont think he will remain in iran, the iff went over him and gave jahanbaksh and azmoun and also there is too much problem in iran, he can easily get in a good european team and coach them so he is not worried at all, iran should be worried, with qualifiers in june and we are without a coach that a problem

I am pretty sure, CQ was fully aware that he will resign after AFC. That's why he agreed to the friendlies. Judging by his actions in the past with friendlies, i was surprised he actually agreed with Sweden and Chile.
Now it makes sense. He knew he would resign after AFC anyways.
But still, i feel him tbh.
Not a single one of us could work under the circumstances he worked for years.

Not only that, such news just before Nowrouz seems odd. I doubt CQ would be that mean to agree to such a plan, while I am not so sure about IFF, I suspect CQ wouldn't resign so close to Nowrouz. I am hoping this is more BS news out of Iran. As it currently stands, he is the best option for our TM. Of course, knowing Kaffashian he will say he has lined up some great foreign coaches and keep us waiting till WC 2018!
