If he goes, we'll go downhill again, but I think there is still hope if IFF doesn't act stupid now.

Yes but only when we were defending (ie most of the time). Our attacking was still dependent on a moment of brilliance by Gucci, Azmoun, Dejagah, Khalatbari etc.
2. Everyone has played a role for Team Melli. Ando's corners and hustle, Nekounam's clutch goals and leadership, Gucci's key goals, etc. Our attacks were collective efforts. If anything, the said players should be the ones scoring. We literally went through a 7 year drought after Daei retired where the majority of our goals were coming from our DMs and defenders. If Gucci, Azmoun, and Dejagah are the ones scoring, then we've finally found players that can do their jobs.

There are better coaches than him, but i liked him because of his work with the infrastructere of our football and for that, he was just the right man. I'm still waiting for the day when we have kept our coach over a longer period and when we make desicsions that benefit us not just for the day.

The one thing that I will say is that after 4 years of CQ, our football is more or less the same as it was before he came. The conclusion that I can make from that is no one person can fix our football. We have to fix our infrastructure and league. Investments should be made in making and maintaining proper playing fields. Making football academies and investing in youth levels and leagues.
Throwing money at one person and hoping for magic isn't such a good idea.

That being said, the 'replacement' is a diversion from the real concern. That concern is the government's constant interference in our footballing decisions and the corrupt incompetents who are running the show.
Jobless at the moment .

As for naming names, I can't right now. I've been both disgusted and devastated since hearing this terrible news.

To be honest, I am not even sad that Queiroz has gone. It's not the end of the world, maybe we could find a coach even better than him.
Sure we could have gone the safe trip with Queiroz but there was too much hashieh, because Queiroz is the type of coach who complain about every little aspect.
As much as I like Queiroz I am looking forward to a new era in our National football team.
If we will sign a foreign coach I would go for Mansourian or Golmohammadi. They wouldn't be bad ^^sigpic

We don't need another Ali Daei World Cup 2010 saga. With all due respect, persons like Mansourian, Hashemian and Golmohammadi are NOT suited for TM. Taking us to the World Cup is a very tough job and you know it.
We need a coach with an impressive resume and experience. The guys above are newbies in the coaching world.
People are saying Mansourian should take over just because he had one good game vs Russia which was meaningless since it was some silly friendly. This is not how it works in professional football.

So it's official now?
Kashani and his gang destroyed PP and now they are doing it to TM. Truly a sad day in the history of iranian football....I hope the haters will be happy with Daie, Ghalenoie, or whatever joke of a coach is next in line.Team Meli Iran

Unbelievable, this news ruined my weekend and perhaps the whole month. Both Goudarzi and Asadi came in charge with one unified purpose and determined goal, to stir things up and make so much trouble and obstacles on TM and in particular CQ, both these imbeciles ever since their installment bashed and ridiculed CQ undermining his work with TM and our football in general, I mean c'mon Azmoun and ARJ so crucial against Afghanistan and Nepal, or was this all just an excuse to piss the crap out of CQ? This was all well planned so that he leaves on his own, this way they won't have to pay him the remainder of his contract!
I am utterly disgusted by these idiots in charge of our country. Props to CQ for having endured and put up with all these BS for several years.
Cannot believe this!
