Welcome to IR of IRan~ Nothing will ever progress in this country! While Arabs built 120billions dollar cities and sky rises! We can't even hold a coach! ye mosh bi farhange ahmagh bi savad ro gozashtan in charge! Mardome iran vaghean bad bakhtan. I would go on strike if I was a TM player.

You are changing the purpose of the whole argument, sure there may be some that just have an agenda vs Queiroz and are happy, but some of you guys that cry over his departure are as bad as they are in my eyes and I can't stand it. Both plastic fans. Purely overemotional and dramatic Iranian fans.
Yes, and it ends there. "In your eyes".

Everything should be allowed to run it's due course. Nobody is "crying" over his departure - we are voicing our displeasure against the decisions of a corrupt Federation and Sports Ministry. For many fans, CQ was a coach that helped improve this team and we wanted that to continue. It's that simple.

Yup, some of you guys are crying over it and wishing absurd stuff for TM, there is where it actually ends.

Or have you forgotten the majority of fans who worked tirelessly to support this team during the Iraqi doping scandal following the Quarter Final match? Some of those happiest at CQ's dismissal today are those that made zero contributions in that thread and did not raise a pink for Team Melli (despite the slimmest of chances). Those same people only showed up once the verdict was announced and resumed their smear campaign the next day. The bad supporters aren't the ones saddened by the loss of a valuable asset to our football, it's the one's who desire failure in our football as means of achieving their agenda.
I don't know of a single true and active member on this board who would wish ill on our TM, or wasn't devastated at the injustice that AFC brought against our team. Could other things be skewing your view of some fans today? Perhaps emotions are high. Personally this is sad news to me, because now our TM will have to endure more uncertainty and a lack of vision until the next coach is appointed (god knows when that will happen). IMO CQ was the best option for our TM at present. I for one did not agree with everything he did, but he certainly outclassed any vatani coach. I think the issue of supporting TM is another story as I was active against the injustice TM faced, perhaps not because of CQ, but largely because it was our beloved TM. I will always be a supporter of TM, whether it has a good or bad coach, because it's our, my TM...others will come and go

I can certainly tell you that is not a skewed view. If we were allowed to have a completely open discussion on the matter, I can bring my analysis to the table.

For now, it's as you put it. We now have to deal with uncertainty and a lack of vision.

Sure we could have gone the safe trip with Queiroz but there was too much hashieh, because Queiroz is the type of coach who complain about every little aspect.
As much as I like Queiroz I am looking forward to a new era in our National football team.
If we will sign a foreign coach I would go for Mansourian or Golmohammadi. They wouldn't be bad ^^
We have to build on CQ...we cannot step backwards. While I like Mansourian (Golmo less so), no Iranian coach is qualified to continue progressing our TM. I have said in the past, if we must, I mean must give a chance to an Iranian...only one who deserves it is Ebrahimzadeh who has not had a fair shake at the NT level (he was a temp coach for a bit), and his international and domestic competition record (e.g., ACL) has been pretty good. But even then, I would want Ebrahimzadeh as coach if every quality decent foreign coach turns us down...we need to build and progress, not step back.

While CQ did make mistakes, there is no one in Iran to replace him that is equal to his tactical knowledge. With CQ's departure it will be difficult to keep the rest of the staff, and this is as detrimental as him leaving himself. Let's draw out what this means.

                          1) TM cant run for 90 minutes anymore: The only era Iran has ever had more stamina than its opponents. Every TM beforehand burned out after 70 minutes(ex. Daei's Iran vs Saudi, GN's Iran vs Korea)

                          2) TM will lose the importance of weight training: Before our current physical trainer, Weight training was deemed unislamic and not done. Our players before Dejagah/Hosseini/Sadeghi/Beikzadeh/PAG were not close to the physical strength of the previously mentioned unless they themselves played in a European league. This will lead to us being outmuscled by the Koreans/Arabs when Qualifiers come around.

                          3) Bekesh Ziresh: Its coming back baby!

                          4) Nepotism/Favoritism: I find it that the less Esteghlal/Perspolis players are invited to Team Melli, the stronger we are as a team. My username would do better to show you that while I like the team, I dont want any of the mafia bazi by our beloved TM. Esteghlal, particularly GN, is also guilty of this. I fear that Mahmoud Fekri might be asked to come out of retirement to replace Hosseini.

                          5) The loss of the second half team talk: Iranian coaches are not good motivators. With CQ our second half performances were much better than our first half because of the team talks and game analysis. We lose that edge now as well.

                                so true.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.
