I am saddened by this but I do not see it as an end road. CQ was bound to leave sooner or later. If you cant adjust to change then you cant succeed.

    EAT. SLEEP. TM. REPEAT.

Whatever, CQ wouldn't have stayed all his life as TM coach either.

I hate the timing of this : the nowruz day and just before two international friendlies we were waiting for long time. I would also prefer that CQ went to some good european club and buy some iranian players with him.

Now let's think about some good foreign coach that could come. What about Magath and his good record with iranians (Magath+Karimi as assistant)?

PS : please don't say,he failed with his 1/4 against Iraq. Iraq + ben johnson williams + AFC were united to kick us out

So sad but this is good and bad. We did so good in World Cup 2014, thank you MR.CQ .
It is time to call back Jalal Talebi to team melli for World Cup 2018 (he was the only one under him, we won against USA, in France 2-1 IRAN 1998!)

it was so obvious, after Kafashian said last week that those players would go to olympic team, I called that CQ would resign. Good for him man, If a senior team coach doesn't have the say on who he wants to invite then that federation bayad bere gho bokhoreh.Hala were going to get some stupid vatani coach who will change everything about this team invite his own player meaning the likes of davari, baitashour and any other iranian player with duel citizenship availability good bye.I don't think we will qualify for wc. There are going to be a few pissed off iranian players too like ashkan, gucci and many more. HELLO RAHMATI AND AGHILI ALAN TO KOONASHOON MAHEMOONIEH..THIS JUST BROUGHT DOWN THE TEAM MORALE TO 0. I hope they can talk him out of it and he stays vagarna we are going back to GN and Daei after wc2006. MAAFI BAZI EDAMEH KHAHAD DASHT TO FOOTBALLE EH IRAN.

I like Mansourian, he's sharp, a little devious and most importantly a respectful and pragmatic character. But like I said, if you put him at the helm of TM you'd simply ruin him. He's not ready. It'd be Daie 2.0. Let them prove themselves. TM shouldn't be a platform for these noobs to be given a shot to launch their careers. I don't care if he wins IPL this year. I wanna see how he does the next year, and the year after that. Look at Ebrahimi, how everyone was talking he's the shit. But after 3 successful years with Zobahan, he's proven to be a one trick pony and actually turned into shit. Such comparisons can be made with virtually all the IPL coaches. None of them are consistent except for GN.

CQ was too used to being placated in every possible way. His silly demands this time around was directly against the national interests and he's doing some siah-bazi, probably influenced by the multitudes of haji-firooz figures in Iran around this time of the year. ;D

He is genuinely the best coach we have ever had. Is he too stubborn and at times dictatorial? Absolutely! Could he have handled his relationship with the IFF better? Absolutely. But those of you who think this isn't a very big deal or a big loss are blinded by your hatred against CQ. This man brought structure and rules to TM and he brought a defensive philosophy that ALL his players bought into to and over all we achieved a level of football in the eyes of the world that was respectable. What he brought to the table is a lot of intangibles that his replacement will likely lack.

The saddest and more ironic part about this is that so many of CQ's haters on pfdc will be singing his praise and begging him to come back in about a year when it becomes even obvious to these haters what a clown show TM will become.

I know that if they sign a iranian is Faraki from Sepahan
The other names in table is Paulo Bento, Scolari, Paulo Foneca, Jaime Pacheco and Quique Flores, this is what one person of the federation tell me...
Well about CQ is not 100% is 99% but... is not official, because we know before they tell he not continue, and now can be equal

Well any of these guys would be pretty good but still risky two months before the start of WCQ as they'll have 0 knowledge of Iranian football. However considering our first opponents aren't good, we could maybe manage to make it progressively with a good Iranian assistant coach like Mansourian or Hashemian, who knows.

Any of this coach need a good iranian assistant that help in adaptation and know well the football in Iran. Mansourian is really good talent coach, but he is so good that I don't know if is good for second coach, maybe Hashemian is humble for work for second coach

But then again the teams we will be facing in the first step of WCQ are not strong and would give room for any coach to experiment new tactics. I predict IFF will hire an Iranian coach, which in the circumstances I think would be the best decision as it will avoid losing adaptation time.

Without any doubt, we are not in the best situation right now, I am against many of CQ's decisions however it would've been better if he stayed our coach. Let's see how things work out, no need to create drama left and right. TM comes before everything and TM comes before Queiroz, no one should forget that.
Zandi jan, in my opinion we need a experience foreign coach, like CQ, who knows how to handle egos. Im afraid vatani coaches (mansourian, yahya) will invite back Rahmati and Aghili
