Sad to see him go. We werent worthy of him to be honest. Saying all that though, TM won nothing under him and his tactics at the Asia Cup was to a defensive style that I personally didnt like watching.
He was a great team psychologist and he instilled a lot of belief into our boys. I doubt we will qualify without him for WC. Infact I hope we dont even get into the regional finals so IFF can all be kicked out and we start again. They are an utter joke! Another examples of how Iroonis couldnt organise a root in a brothel!!

i am not against quieroz but he probably didn't want to stay - to suddenly decide to leave cause there was interference - I mean this is not the first time there has been interference in modern iranian football history, he knew what he signed up for so he is probably leaving for other reasons. Overly defending him and making him a heroine is not a good thing.

Carlos!
you could have had easily the job at Man Utd with Sir Alex's endorsement! But you decided to stay with us instead!
You did brilliantly with Team Melli and I would like to thank you deeply for everything you have done for us!
Although I wished I could say farewell in better circumstances, but then again "thats Iranian football (sadly)".
I also would like to extent my thanks to your great staff, specially Mr. Dan Gaspar (what a gentleman he is), and Oceanu.
You all did well and will be missed.
I would like to wish you Carlos, all the best of life, wherever you go! Iranian fans know how to appreciate you and will always remember you!CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php
Don't Select Players That Suit Your Tactics; Select A Tactic That Suits Your Players !!!

While there are some matters I didn't agree, I have a few things to thank CQ for, however.
1-
Thank you for a very memorable game versus Argentina, especially the second half.
I shall keep that game as one of the high points of your stint in Iran.
2-
Thank you for the win (luck or not) in Korea and especially how you handled that crass, idiot coach who blurted nonsense before the game. Not to mention your fist pump in his bloody face. I really enjoyed that one.
3-
Thank you for your excellent system of physical preparation of a team that used to be famous for running out of gas by minute 60. This transformation was particularly appreciated.
4-
Thank you for daring to open up and criticize the AFC for their incompetent, corrupt ways. Something that our previous coaches never dared do.
Good luck in your future endeavors

Not sure why he stayed for these two exhibition games. He should have left this post if he knew he wasn't going to stay until the next world cup. With that said he brought a level of professionalism and understanding to our soccer that has been missing since forever. I don't know where IFF goes from here, but it's going to be downhill. The lesser the fall the better off we will be as fans. If we go back to any national coaches we might as well expect to go back to the same dish of crap we have been fed for 10-15 years now.
