Three good foreign managers who are without a team and also managed a team at the 2010 WC.
1. Marcello Lippi managed Italy at the WC. Previously managed Juve and Inter. He won the the AFC Champions League with Guangzhou Evergrande last year. Salary is way too high!
2. Bert van Marwijk managed a very disorganised Holland team at the WC. Still managed to get a job at Hamburger SV after that. Currently without a team. Salary at the WC in 2010 was 1.8 million Euros It will definitely be much cheaper than CQ now.
3. MY FAVOURITE ONE! managed Uruguay at the WC which performed really well. In 2012 he managed Uruguay Olympics team. Previously managed Milan. Salary at the WC in 2010 was 205k Euros!!!

As mentioned, Lippi and Hitzfeld are retired.
Van Marwijk will not come to Iran - his condition will be that he gets to work from the Netherlands. This is why talks between him and South Korea broke down in summer 2014.
Tabarez is coaching Uruguay and is already 68 years old. He won't pack his bags and come to Iran for a long-term contract.
Prandelli and Zaccheroni will be eaten alive by the media are weak figures as far as personality is concerned.
I am fully against removing CQ but I believe the best alternative would have been Vahid Halilhodzic... who was picked up by Japan a month ago.
