Simeone would be a perfect match IMO.

Now the rest knows about what kind of shit CQ went through foreign coaches will not sign for TM.
Why not? he knows some iranians and the climate around Iran is much better now (with the eventual nuclear deal) than in 2011

Would you like to live fulltime in Iran when you have lived all your life in an easy and good environment like Europe? Add to the fact that he is already 61 years old. He is not willing to give up all his freedom for a job.

CQ didn't live fulltime in Iran neither.

World Cup 2014 Qualifiers under CQ:

-Topped the group with 16 points,
-As a result, qualified for the World Cup,
-Conceded only 2 goals in 8 games,
-Brought Gucci in our team who basically took us to the World Cup,
-Became no.1 in the AFC rankings after years,
-The best overall Asian WCQ team statistics,

If you decide to bring up his "failures", you should also take a look at his achievements. But seeing how one-dimensional some are, I am not surprised they continue to bring up the rigged Iraq "loss" and our blow out against the Bosnians while we fought like lions against the 2nd best team in the world Argentina. But of course, the last thing is irrelevant.

Talk to me when some vatani coach can achieve the same thing.

Voted for Skocic but kranjcar would be great choice as well, perhaps even a better option of the two given:

                - he has coached a national team with big expectations in a WC
                - has years of coaching experience in Iran and therefore is more familiar
                - very good at introducing younger players to the senior team, he did great with that in sepahan
                - his team is always the most consistent in the PGL

                Skocic on the other hand:

                - knows our league and players well for someone who has been in Iran for a year
                - like kranjcar, manages to get consistent results
                - turned a mid table team like malavan into a very consistent teams and had one of the best records in the second half of last season

I'm with chamillionaire, as long as it is not a vatani coach I will be happy. We need someone with international experience who can utilize this upcoming gold generation of iranian football with the likes of azmoun, JB, motahari, alishah, pouraligani, beiranvand, etc.
                Team Meli Iran
                Perspolis FC
                Malavan Bandar Anzali

We need a Nepalese coach since their U22 is so strong we cannot win their team without SA and JB.

Iranian coaches can't handle the pressure of the media. I like "Dragan Skocic" he's very professional and didn't whine and complain when he lost almost all of his players due to "Sarbazi" issue, and when his team loses he takes responsibility for it.

I'd say "Markar Aghajanyan" would be a great choice as well. He was working along CQ for over 4 years and he's familiar with our players. Our players seem to like him a lot as well.

A coach without international experience, will basically lead us nowhere.

I don't understand these immature comments, unbelievable.. And MR-jan I am not referring to you directly, but everyone keeps saying that Khakpour needs to have Azmoun and Jahanbakhsh to beat Nepal and Afghanistan, yet no one mentions we also play Saudi Arabia?
Secondly, what's with the beef against Khakpour, Khakpour wants the best squad available, just like CQ does for his team, the decision was up to the IFF, so the beef should be with them.

And besides, before kids on this website starts attacking me and labeling me, I haven't really formed my opinion on this matter since I believe both sides make good arguments on what team Azmoun and Jahanbakhsh should go with.

Why not just go for Mourinho or even try to bring SAF out of retirement?

He doesn't have to live there fulltime, and besides, n!gga you throw around enough dough you can get Obama to come coach TM
Magath wouldn't be a bad choice, but I don't get what's up with people making him seem familiar with all of our football and stuff just cause he has coached some of our best players at different clubs..
