I don't understand why Mansourian got so many votes! lol Just for 1 game of naft against some al-gooz arabi team a week ago?
      We replace coaches so easy!
And why is Branco not on the list? did he not qualify iran to WC ? Where is Vierra?
You would think that if a coach took us to World cup and is not too old at least his name would be on the list... rather than some local coach that
has no international experience as a head coach of any national team in the world!

So far at least 55 out of 104 people voted for foreign coaches.

I think the reason why Mansourian got a lot of votes was not because of Naft beating al gooz.

I remember a member made a comparison between Naft and Team Melli's tactics. I don't remember who it was exactly, but he made some valid points.

The style of football Naft plays is similar to the national team. And since Ali Mansourian has worked with Carlos and knows somewhat how he coaches Team Melli, that's why I believe he has gotten the majority of votes here.

I think Mansourian is a good coach but he still has a lot to learn. But if shit hits the fan and Carlos is out the door, which it has hit the fan unfortunately, then Team Melli needs a coach who can continue the 4 years of work Carlos has left behind in our football. Some people say Markar Aghajanian. I don't know who is a good option. But if it were between Aghajanian and Ali Mansourian, I say Mansourian.

Aghajanian has worked by Carlos for a very long time. He has great chemistry with the players and staff. He has the World Cup in his resume. He probably knows more about Carlos than any other Iranian does (not couning Omid Namazi who was also very close with Carlos). BUT, Markar is an analyst. I would choose Mansourian over him.

Why such a distrust in your own kind? Besides, I don't see how Faraki is recycled. He has never had national team's helm before.

Mansourian has done well in IPL with a very mediocre young team, he was an assistant under Ghotbi and CQ. I am sure Ghotbi transferred a lot of knowledge learn from Advocaat and Heddnik to Mansourian. As did CQ.

He headed Omid team and his only experience as TM head coach was our game against Russia in which we won.

it may be too early for him but in this context of choices among vatani coaches and foreign coaches that know Iranian football he is the best choice. I wouldn't risk bringing a foreign coach that is not accutomed to IFF, IRI and Iran culture. It will be a big risk.
from bad and worst Mansourian is the best choice.

i think all the list is no good, mansourian is too young to be coaching a national team also

The issue with vatani coaches is that they cannot control all the princesses in Iran football. They end up spending all their time attacking others and defending themselves and dealing with Iranian God given players.
.... At the end I am nothing other than ordinary

So basically, he is going to retire? Do we know if he has any offers?

Pfff, such a horrific list. Obviously none of them are good enough to replace King CQ. Like DUH... Seriously!

Anyhoots, I think there is a certain group of people who wish for the next TM coach to follow in CQ's majestic footsteps. I therefore nominate the legendary Iranian defender Ostad Assadi as the one true replacement candidate for King CQ!

                          easter european?

That list is not ok tbh. What the fudge is a western european coach? What does that stand for? Name a damn coach instead of his heritage which means jack.
IRI's politics is no different than handling a pressure cooker ..... As the pressure builds up, you slowly let the steam out just a tad bit so that you don't see overflow, and once the pressure from below is less, you put the lid down again and raise the temperature.

ROFL! Clearly you're a clueless gamecube commentator! A coach's ethnic background determines his intellectual aptitude, managerial ability, tactical prowess and howmuch he'll be worshiped by plastic fans. And it has nothing to do with self hatred, reverse racism or ajnabi parasti. If anything, it's missing a blonde coach with blue eyes option.

I would say Felix Magath. He is a great coach who knows Iranian football in a way having coached Ashkan and Karimi and believing in Iranian players. But we all know its obviously a problem bringing experienced Western European coaches into Iran. Its still shocks me how we got Queiroz to coach TM. I love you CQ and I feel priveleged to witness someone in his caliber coaching my Team Melli. Having said that, I also feel that since we had Carlos Queiroz as our coach for the past 4 years and with overall a good performance @ World Cup, there would be way better options there besides the choices we have based on this poll. I personally dont want just some average coach, but someone more like Queiroz. It's such BS we are losing him and so pitiful of our retard federation and system that is ruining our country and everything that brings pride and happiness into people's lives in Iran or anywhere else in the world. Simply "KHOSHAALI MAMNOO"!!! No one can be happy for anything. azaadaari, shahadat ino uno, sineh zanio, tu kooneh hamdigeh kardano, nabood kardan sonat Irano Irani boodan... Aaberoo vaaseh maa nazashtan digeh. Man I just can't get over that Queiroz is leaving.... so fuckin sad... I am really worried for the future of my beloved Team Melli. I dont want no fuckin vatani retard coach.. Even Faraki who is experienced is not good enough. Mansourian needs more experience to become better then maybe he can qualify as he knows his stuff and is on right path of becoming a good coach. Its like a nightmare I can't get out of..
