What is your approval rating of CQ (before Chile/Sweden Friendlies)
well said.
Yet another WRONG and erronious iranian old ladies tale.
YOU MUST ADAPT TO YOUR ENVIRONMENT....
not at all....
You stand by your principles. Only Iranians and Arabs will ADAPT whenever it fits their agenda and it is beneficial to them and hence the condition those two nations are in.
Coming to a unorganized, corrupt, uninfrastructed, DOZD BAZAR like Iran and adapting to their wrong ways would be the same thing as BECOMING one of them. I dont thik CQ or anyone with any principle would do that. Qale Noie or Derakshan.....yes those would.
Extremism is NEVER a solution. How do you expect to change a nation, a culture and all the bad habits and expect it to be all fine ? Dooste Gerami... it is lengthy process and I know we all want it to be done quickly but it is not always that way, It is taking Japan and Korea with all the support and money many years and they are still far behind Europe and how do you exactly expect Us to change everything in a short period of time with practically nothing. We have to be fair..
3...our possession game, goal scoring ability, and midfield have not been bad but not great either. Defensively we have become fantastic however, at times the game plan remains to rigid for my liking. I also like the infusion of foreign based players, however, not sure about the "dismissal" of IPL players because some serious talent hasn't really had a chance to shine under CQ. While we have had some memorable moments we have not won anything under CQ which is also rather disappointing.

Totally agree with everything, I voted 3 for the exact same reasons.
Look, it's obvious that pfdc is experiencing an inquisitive like phenomena. If you fail to agree that CQ is supreme, you will be bashed and attacked. Yet, those who agree with CQ are viewed by the critics as sheep, who fail to acknowledge his faults as relevant. Both sides have truths to back up their claims, but the critics seem to be more right then wrong in their arguments. CQ plays with a very depressing mindset, which may be acceptable against the likes of Argentina, but against Asian sides, no way. He lost much of my support after the game against Qatar and the UAE. Not only did we play some of the worst football ever, we failed to progress from the quarters. (even though we fought against corruption, we should have still won IMO). And now he chooses players who will not serve the NT in the coming years, rather then pick 5 or 6 promising guys, who would make great use in the upcoming friendlies. I respect the discipline and strength he has implemented into the program, but he has neglected the up and coming gems of our football for guys like shojaei. Look at the video of the latest training that was posted.. Besides ando, everyone looked pretty bad. Ashkan especially seemed lackadaisical, unlike on his debut, where I thought he was going to be the greatest, or one of the greatest players ever for TM.
Up until now I have been quiet satisfied with CQ and I still approve of him. I am a little bit disappointed in his latest list though.
Where are the youngsters that are going to replace our aging players like Nekounam, Hosseini, Heidari, Shojaei, Sadeghi etc???!!! I hope the only good explanation is that these youngsters are serving the olympic team right now and will be added to the next list.

It's actually 75% here Amin jaan and I suspect the numbers in Iran would have dropped to around the same levels since the 90 poll because of the latest fiasco.
At any rate, my point was that 88% of the fans don't feel that CQ's tenure has been perfect or give him a 100% approval rating, the way some gentlemen have been throwing those numbers around.
In fact, the majority of the fans (58%) at least here on PFDC, don't feel that CQ has been perfect or beyond criticism - at least that's how I'm interpreting the results.
So far 67 people have voted only so we can't really compare/judge his approval rating with 3 million at 90's program. CQ has not been perfect and he definetly has some flaws but I still think he's the best choice for Iran. I've never seen our TM players and fans so united and this is truly because of CQ's ability to bring the fans and players together.
At the end all I want is for TM to succeed and I hope whoever comes on board would be able to help us achieve great things.
Since the 1970s
We've never had such a solid defense.
We've never had such solidarity between the players
We've never had such discipline and respect for the team melli shirt.
We've never played with such a clear game plan, even though it's not too attractive.
In these 4 ways, our football has progressed. Many of the players have expressed learning a lot from the coach. I'll bet that they will continue to sing the same song after CQ leaves.
As much as I hate to say it, IFF made 2 great decisions. Hiring CQ and also keeping him for 4 years. Hopefully next coach will build on this advancement.
you know CQ haters are feeling lonely when they start arguing about 75% versus 88%. Yes, that is not an illusion. 75% is still a majority.
you do realize that you can disagree with some aspects of a person's performance, and yet still approve of their overall work. In fact a memo to the creator of this poll ....... in reality, no one really agrees 10000000% with anyone.

Hence why there is a likert scale for you to express that. I am relatively neutral, for the reasons outlined before, and that is ok as well. I do not get why we insist on CQ hater or CQ lover...

Khob Offside jaan, isn't that the exact same thing the "CQ haters" (as some in the 40% would label them, yourself included in this very post ) have been saying the whole time?! I personally grew hair on my tongue from repeating that. I'm glad we finally agree on that.
That's a little bit of a loaded sentence Amin jaan. Sure, he's the best choice for Iran, because at the moment he's the only choice!
It's not like IFF has come up with a list of 6 alternate coaches we can hire for $3 million a year and we have compared their resumes and playing styles and conclusively determined CQ is the best choice for going forward.
We keep comparing him to GN, MK or Daei (i.e. no-choices IMHO) and keep saying he's the best coach, which I totally agree he is - compared to that group.

Since you voted neutral, do you prefer him to stay or someone else to come on board? If another coach who do you think would be suitable for TM?
