Like I said, if I caught it, I called him or anyone else on it. My friend, an eye for an eye makes the world go blind. If you disagree kill him with kindness and respect...but don't literally kill him. Anyways, I hope I have modelled this behaviour, as I always try to do so, and I am sorry if you felt "wronged" in that I haven't. But if you go look at the post match, we already have fans saying "don't expect a repeat of this performance against Sweden..." This is how fans work...some are pessimistic, some are optimistic...each gets burned at their own time, and each has his own moments of happiness. What I fear most of you fail to see, is that these are merely coping mechanisms all of us have...in the end, we all want the same thing...happiness through victory and success for TM and everyone affiliated with it.
I fear many of you (collectively only both sides) fail to see this...this blindness makes you attack the very same people who would cheer for Iran in the stadiums next to you...to be honest, it sucks to be persecuted for your opinions. It's wrong...and I do not want to become a broken record. Respect begets respect!

I agree with you here. I am not saying "an eye for an eye". I am saying that if someone comes to me speaking German, I must speak German back to him for him to understand. If someone comes to me speaking the language of ridicule, then I believe the only way they will understand is if I speak the same language back.

I don't make such statements. Voicing your opinion is fine, but to talk down to others and show such arrogance is completely different.

513p for the win over chile. this is unusual for iran to gain so many points in 1 game. But the ranking is an avg system so its no so easy just to add the points straight up

this is the fact, iran won , they had thier b team at first but then brought thier good players iran hold on, now the main question, should IFF let CQ go?i would say no,since the world cup qualifiers are so close and he know the team well, if iran dont lose to sweden there will be alot of heat of iff from fans and media to keep CQ. also there is no other coach who know iran football this well, they will have to presuade CQ to stay, not because we cant get another coach but because he has deservered to stay on, he has commited himself to iran football taking iran to world cup, also asian cup(i know was a poor showing) but reality is we need him for the next world cup, non iranian coahces arent good if they are good are expensive, iranian coaches just cant take over the job at this stage is a fact we have to accept

No, Iran has played with this sense of urgency and poise in every match. We actually had very similar stats to most of our other games (low possession, low passing #'s, etc.) The difference with this game was, we scored early. When Iran scores early, we win.

We were extremely defensively minded today, but you are twisting into CQ just deciding to play like Brazil so you are happy. No, CQ has been building the same program for 4 years, and it's paid off. We always are rock solid in defense under CQ (which you CQ bashers seem to gloss over. Remember our glory days when we'd score 6 and concede 4?)

The only issue in the past was player confidence. Today we played confident. You are extremely obtuse if you believe that we had some crazy new tactic today and it was all thanks to you and your CQ bashing. It makes you sound mentally ill, I'm sorry.

I'm going to start hating my favorite TV show until it finally hits the climax and then say "it was boring before, but since I bashed it so much, now it's good! I'm so smart!!"

No, things take time to develop and get better. Anyone who hasn't noticed the gradual improvement and chemistry and gheyrat built in this team over 4 years time is just flat plain *****. That's no specific word, because there's nothing to describe that form of ignorance.

But yes, please believe that CQ played your tactics today to win. Don't check the stat sheet, though. It might mess with your God-Complex.

TBH with you, I don't mind at all my nose being rubbed in this great win - hell, you can rub my whole body in it!

Like I said in my original and last post, all my TM predictions have been on the optimistic side with this one being the only exception. Nothing would have made me happier than if ALL my predictions were proven to be on the pessimistic side, 'cause we would have reached the 2nd round of the WC and we would have won the Asian Cup!

And I'm not the only one who wasn't feeling this game. Almost everyone (who had enough balls to even make a prediction ) was expecting a bad result - given everything that has been happening of course, with the exception of Kiarash and maybe a couple of other people who should be credited in these situations, rather than others being discredited!

As far as the game, I think you and I and many others have always been saying that if we play a more offensively (like we did in the 1st 60 minutes), these are the results we can be expecting. So, if anything this result proved what we've been saying the whole time.

Had we played the whole game like we did in the last 30 minutes, from the very start and against Chile's A team, there's no way we would have got this result, although I'm confident that if played the same way we did in the 1st 60 minutes, even with Chile's A squad, we would have got the exact same result.

So, as far as I'm concerned this game finally proved that Iranian football is best with the right mixture, balance if you will, of offence and defense and I hope CQ (if he stays) or any other coach that might take over will make a note of that.

Did u guys notice how Chile attacked on the right flank ( Irans left ) in the last 20-30 minutes and always managed to get a dangerous cross in? It was either Hashem standing too much in the centre or Amiri not doing his defensive duties. Either way it was a real flaw in the system. What do you guys think?

it looked more like they were stronger that side, since sanchez was more there, and i agree our left back had problem with no pooladi and hajsafi they attacked alot

Great performance. Surprisingly the defense was kind of shaky but the finishing made up for it, even though shojaei could have scored two more.
What's sad is people like Doctor Doom and St Mark are probably disappointed about this result...

What impressed me the most about how we played was that the players knew exactly what to do when they got the ball.

Each player knew their role very well.

You could see it in the attacks and on offense.

We had a few hiccups on defense when it came to marking players, but other than that they seemed to have executed the game plan to perfection.

As predicted by most of the clear eyed, intelligent, rational observers of TM. Iran has the quality and class to play a fluid attacking game against virtually any team with a handful of exceptions. Iran won this match because they were pressing the Chileans hard and in THEIR OWN HALF! Forcing errors, blunders, dispossession, etc. and attacking in force and numbers up until the 60th minute. Then King CQ, the brilliant tactician that he is, took out the best play maker in the team - Shojaie, and in my opinion MOM - for Omid Ebrahimi. #derp He then proceeded to sub out the hustling and bustling Gucci for the Ballerina - arguably responsible for Osasuana's inevitable relegation. And reverted back to his good old park the bus tactics by essentially castrating TM's offensive maneuverability giving the Chileans several chances to score.

TM showed its true potential in this match if it hadn't been managed by a headless chicken in the past 4 years.

P.S. The Jagger outclassed every single Chilean player on the pitch. Alas, he may not be a lost cause in the abyss of arab football yet if he chooses to leave ASAP.
