I just remembered Sweden didn't allow this game to be in Sweden cuz they were scared the result might impact the attendance of Iran-Sweden. Lol at them

If 2 or 3 of those Chilean chances would have gone in, would you have done the same? Congrats to TM, but shame on you!
In terms of the game, the only really negative thing I could point out was Ansarifard. For me, Ansarifard has been given too much chances to prove his TM worth. I like the guy as a player, but for some reason his game is never in sync with this team. Haven't followed him much in Osasuna, but I think for now, we should go with Azmoun and Gucci and a different third striker. This just isn't working for him. Otherwise, very good result, against a top team. Lots to be proud of today...

Lol @ people who are upset with Shojaei for those 3 chances.
Most players wouldn't even be in a position to get those opportunities. And reading these comments, it seemed like he missed 3 100% sitters. In reality those were all tough positions in tight spaces and he still managed something.
This all goes to show that the majority of PFDC members' understanding of the game comes from the commentary of Mazdak Mirzaei (or whatever lunatic is commentating).
Mirzaei, who doesn't know what he is talking about, says something, and 2 minutes later the match day thread is filled with the exact same comments.
Word of advice, 95% of broadcasters on IRIB are complete morons. Do not listen to them.

I saw the thread heading and as is the tradition, I expected to see discussion about the GAME. So without reading any of the posts I copy-pasted my F+ bit here.
Then went back to read some of the posts. Imagine my surprise to find instead of discussing the games, its events, tactics, players, ... I see a few immature people use match's result to start fights with other members.
The sad thing is many of these immature and childish posts are by people who in the real world are called ''adults''! So there are posts after posts, page after page of people pulling this chap and that chap up to pursue some childish vindictive imaginary cause. As if any of the targets had actually wanted or demanded TM's defeat!
Absolutely ridiculous.
What's even more ironic is the very same people who suddenly started picking on members were actually making fun of our own Omid team and making light of their tournament and games!!
Once in a while it'd be nice to hold YOURSELVES to those standards you expect others to hold. Even when you IMAGINE they haven't .... which is not true, to begin with anyway.
And as for the morons who actually think X or Y would be sad if TM won, like today ... well, they're MORONS. What could you say to them anyway, eh?
Anyway it's quite sad. I wish we would mature ALONG with our numerical age. Although I hear having to bear all the ''oghdeh'' and wait for some occasion to let it all out must be quite painful. But you know what's even less painful? Not bearing an oghdeh in the first place.
Alas .... . sigh

How many times can one human being be wrong .......
From the MK for TM fiasco after the loss to the saudis, to the recent WCQ game, all the way to this game against Chile.
dude, just give it up. Starting sentences like "well, it's disappointing to see Chile fielding a weak lineup" is weak, and self demeaning. Just admit you blew it and stop handing over backhand complements by claiming Chile did not take us seriously .......
