dude, just give it up. Starting sentences like "well, it's disappointing to see Chile fielding a weak lineup" is weak, and self demeaning. Just admit you blew it and stop handing over backhand complements by claiming Chile did not take us seriously .......

For once I like to see a member come out and say, YES, I WAS WRONG, I BLEW IT.

Then went back to read some of the posts. Imagine my surprise to find instead of discussing the games, its events, tactics, players, ... I see a few immature people use match's result to start fights with other members.
The sad thing is many of these immature and childish posts are by people who in the real world are called ''adults''! So there are posts after posts, page after page of people pulling this chap and that chap up to pursue some childish vindictive imaginary cause. As if any of the targets had actually wanted or demanded TM's defeat!
          Absolutely ridiculous.
What's even more ironic is the very same people who suddenly started picking on members were actually making fun of our own Omid team and making light of their tournament and games!!
Once in a while it'd be nice to hold YOURSELVES to those standards you expect others to hold. Even when you IMAGINE they haven't .... which is not true, to begin with anyway.
Anyway it's quite sad. I wish we would mature ALONG with our numerical age.
          Alas .... . sigh!
majority of these so called adults think, me, you or any one critical to CQ wants to see him or team melli fail, simply its lack of intuition on their part not being able to identify criticism from ill will

just ignore them like I do, they are bunch of low lives that never hacked any thing in the real world, their only achievement in life is to get members banned by ganging up on them, or try to portray anyone against their herd of sheep mentality as the evil one, dragging threads into mud page after page with nonsense

the good thing is, many members by now, know who they are, and are aware of their sick sadistic behavior

again and again it all goes back to their lack of intuition my friend, dont get upset over bunch of losers turning into keyboard champion in a football thread , your input is always valuable to all of us, always looking forward to read your posts

^ ^ well, it's 11 players, and we did not have JB, Azmoun, Hajsafi and Pouladi, 4 of our good young players. Some would argue that we also fielded a B team and still managed to win 2-0.
Once again, solid defense, opportunistic offense, good discipline and at the end of the day, a win.

Fact: Australia drew with the current world champions at their home ground.

Now what does that make Australia?

Kiarash, why can't you just appreciate the fact that countries like Australia and Iran are representing the whole of Asia greatly with their recent results.

I believe had we lost this match or played to the dissatisfactory, he would have been the first to open his usual "Post-Match" thread after the first half.

HZV jaan, c'mon my brother please put aside the bias and be honest to yourself and everyone else, do you seriously and honestly out this Chile of current time on par with that Chile side that was beaten by TM? Are you for real HZV jaan? Seems like you still refuse to fully acknowledge and cherish the good performance and great win against today's Chile. They missed a few of their main players, so what? So did we miss several of our starters and great players: Azmoun, ARJ, Hajsafi and PAG.

We should at least give the credit when it's due!

oh, no need to be happy for me, although I do appreciate the gesture. Hajsafi and pouladi are starters. JB and Azmoun are the legionnaires. No one in their right mind would argue that Beikzadeh is better than Pouladi or Hajsafi, and do you honestly believe that Ansarifard would be in the game if Azmoun was available? So, clearly we did not have our A team either because of Olympic and military obligations. So man up, and give credit where credit is due.

I'm with you on exposing the thoughtless sheep jumping bandwagons whether its worshiping CQ, praising Davari, bashing Haghighi before WC, bashing Shojaie, etc. But DD does deserve atleast some of the flak that he's getting though. For example he was the original conspirator with an irrational angst against Shojaie. I guess you could make an argument for it to be a modern text based retelling of the old "camel grudge" proverb via these forums. But then again, it's completely devoid of any rationality, and that in turn undermines his credibility and analysis. Pointing towards the fact that not only he is biased but he also has an agenda - atleast against this one individual player.

But I'm also against your idea of simply "ignoring the sheep." I find that silly, and counterproductive. The single, universal characteristic of these sheep is their lack of intellect and ability to grasp nuances of separating facts from fiction vis a vis think for themselves. This makes them easily malleable and thus in a permanent state of heightened suggestibility. Instead of discarding them like trash, I'd rather use them as minions for my own amusement. Take the doping scandal for example. How cute and hilarious was that they legitimately thought they could overturn the result of a FIFA sanctioned Asian Cup match with little to no evidence of doping and absolutely no precedence? Did made such an effort too, with just shows how useful these tools can become under the right whip.

dejagah was world class. shojaei played well for the most part but he always fucks up in fron of the net in the 6 yard box. and he was playin sloppy after 65th minute. vahid amiri also looks another very promising youngster love his game.

Obviously you were playing close attention. Someone said it best, Chert o Pert. Your argument fails, just admit it. Why are we Iranians so proud that we can never accept being wrong?
LMAO. Roo keh nist sange paaye ghazvine!

So overall possession was 26% and 1st half possession was 38% - making 2nd half possession 14%, but I am the one who should admit I was wrong for saying that we had much more possession in the 1st 45 to 50 minutes?!

And you think having 40% possession in the 1st half against a top 15 team in the world is being as "defensively minded" as having 30% possession against UAE, or after the 1st half of the Iraq game?!

Khob halaa ghabool keh khengi, koor ham hasti?! These are two snapshots from minute 3:47 on the UAE and Chile matches, both with the opponent in possession. They look the same to you?! Do they show the same sense of "urgency" or pressing?!

Aslan forget about all this and what I'm saying, didn't CQ say the same thing in his post match interview, that this match gave us an opportunity to improve in "team movement, passing and pressing?" But what the hell does he know?!

Did anyone else notice the amount of times Chile tried to attack through the wings, but were forced to pass back to their CB's?
