    Hey guys,

There appeared to be someone crying after the final whistle against Chile. I just saw someone with their head buried in someone elses arms but I had to leave for class and did not get to see who it was. Did anyone else notice this? Was it Carlos Quieroz?

Since we've been talking about etiquette today and why some members get a certain approach, this thread and the U-23 one are good illustrations of why Bi-Honar gets the kind of treatment that he does. Just note his childish refusal to acknowledge that there is anything wrong with DD's attitude even when he's shown evidence in the other thread, with his justification apparently being that "well he's nice to me, so..."!

...Now take a look at his debates with Afat11 and Lorestani in this thread, with both members walking away in frustration at the childish petulance and intellectual dishonesty.

To clarify my own posts toward him, I've known this guy for a long time from another board. Let's just say he has a certain track record. A track record that is morbidly comical in some spots which I hinted at earlier. There is only so many times you can watch a grown man act like a stubborn child and hide behind silly word games and logical fallacies JUST to avoid admitting he may be wrong before you stop taking him seriously.

If you want another perfect example of the nonsense I'm referring to, check out a thread on ISP where he argues up and down and turns all logic and common sense on its head just to "prove" that Donald Sterling, the racist NBA owner who didn't want black people at his games, is NOT racist

It's impossible to respect someone like this. Sorry.

btw, Qatar defeated Algeria yesterday. The same algeria that almost defeated Germany. just a month ago we defeated Qatar... the point is, Iran is really, really good. no one can deny that, we are just not lucky.

Its not that we are unlucky, its just that AFC has in for us!! if IFF had balls, one big slap in AFC face they will stop their Iran bashing policy and we bring home some silverware!!..

I don't think it was CQ as he was visible after the match. Still trying to figure out the story behind this. I thought initially it was related to the passing of the reporters on that tragic airline disaster.

I watched the highlights, two things come to mind: Iran needs to much improve on ball control/possession, specially late in the game when trying to preserve a result. That is why we need someone like Karimi or Khalatbari or Mobali in new TM. Also Ashkan needs to control his emotions: when he fails to score and shows extreme frustration, the negativity rubs off on teammates.

Trust me, I'm not. It's not just my perspective either. Look at his arguments with other people and tell me if you don't see what I'm talking about. I actually held back for months here before calling him out.

Please focus on the thread title and take the fighting to your message inboxes.

In the post-match conference CQ praised TM players and said that throughout his long career he has been to many countries. He has fantastic players at his disposal who played excellent tonight.

The Chilean coach said that Chile was going for the win, but was overwhelmed by Iran especially in the first half.

However, I wonder if you could have rephrased (e.g., the bolded part) without insulting anyone? Respect begets respect...I don't think they or anyone is wrong in their criticism or approval, everyone has an opinion. If we are going to call them out, let's not give ammno to be called out...particularly since kindness is the best weapon. Ps. Glad you are back even if we didn't get along in the gen forum
not sure how I am reading your post I thought I blocked you,

I have no respect for someone that mocks the shir o khorshid flag. do, me, yourself and the rest of the members a favor and stay away from my posts, we have nothing to talk about , we dont even believe in the same flags ,

thanks for the nice gesture, I wish I could say ''water under the bridge''
                        but
my border line is the shir o khorshid flag and I stand by it

It's poor Iranian scripting. Right click on the video, full screen -> Play.

One question, is behrang safari drafted to play for the swedish side ? Its a shame to see young iranians at the service of foreigners instead of iran, down with IR and its supporters that have left all of us homeless

What does this make you, then?
For someone whom you don't supposedly respect, you sure go to such lengths to dig up stuff and track and follow in various threads and then write really long posts about!! And that's just not healthy.

Seems aside from not respecting him, you respect YOURSELF EVEN LESS!
Perhaps a visit to a doctor may be in order.

Mate, these friendly results don't mean anything in terms of true strength of teams.

... and if we go by some people's logic, we beat Korea who's beaten Brazil, who've been five time world champs. Therefore Maldives is worthy of being called a world superpower in football by drawing the Koreans.
