And if we played 2 days later we would have won 4-0.

Under normal circumstances, we would have beaten Bosnia-Herzegovina.

I mean even in this game, we were unlucky, it wasn't impossible to beat them.
        Still proud!

            We now have:

            Pouraliganji
            Azmoun
            Ghafouri
            Amiri

We didn't have them at the World Cup and they are now mostly fixed players. So pretty much different if you ask me.

Pouraliganji played b/c of Montazeri Injury. As you saw he wasn't even used against Chile.
Azmoun and Gucci aren't that different. Honesly Gucci was doing very well for TM at the WC and he played well.
Amiri played b/c of Hajsafi injury, honestly I would still take Hajsafi over him.

                The only change is Ghafouri.

But Pouraliganji was used in the 5 other games we had before Chile.

Azmoun was stealing Gucci's spot at the Asian Cup but I agree Gucci did well at the World Cup.

yes because of the injury to Montazeri.
replacing a couple of players in a squad is not really a major change that would somehow send us through to the round of 16.

                      Individual brilliance of Azmoun.

Despite of this, I think the team is tactical much better as 2014, CQ worked on them, I'm sure Bosnia won't beat us again so easily.

To further elaborate on this: he used 3 years to make our defense which opponents are having hell of a trouble to score against, a world class defence!! Now, we see how they are improving in attack, which would be his next move, to work on this for 2018. Ama akhonda nakhastan..

I agree that this current team is probably slightly better than the world cup team. But Queiroz's squad selections also effected the outcome of this game pretty heavily. Best to just let it go its been a long time 2018 will be much better.

My god the clip even pauses by itself at 2:43 to clearly show Nekounam was onside on that play. None of the other four players were involved in the initial pass.

how can you say that was OFFSIDE ??
