    Hello friends.
Ive been following this site for a few years now and today i finally decided to become a member.
I want to start by thanking the people who are operating this site as you do a tremendous job!

I personally think that Iran played well today in front of a team that is a class above us.
Dejagah, gucci, and ando did not do so well, as i (we) expect much more from them as our coach focuses our game play around them.
the second goal was our fault because the player on top of the 18 did not track back with the player (in my opinion).

all that said, im not so disappointed with the performance of the team but disappointed with the final score. Sweden played very well. Iran did well too based on the collection of players that carlos had in hand.

Yup. My opinion about him is compiled based on 4 years worth of games played by TM under his helm. Besides friendly matches aren't exactly the best measuring stick for a coach, as they're mainly used for experimenting different lineups and tactics.

        - Overall they looked a class better, especially first half, which is no surprise, except for perhaps the delusional members that call a 2-0 win against chile b our best result ever
AGREE 100% especially the 3rd point, we lose when scored upon!!

Of course Beiranvand is not ready. I've seen him concede some really ugly goals in IPL - Mirzapour level. He's not TM GK material. Not now, not ever! Point is, Haghighi has been in decline and been quite complacent with no competition. I'm hoping benching him for Beiranvand for a while would be the humiliating catalyst that might just be psychologically abrasive enough for Haghighi to find himself again. Rinse, and repeat if he declines again.

It's a shame that in less than a year we have once again been defeated by Bosnians.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Oh come on. Lol it was an enjoyable game. Sweden is a very good team + we were playing in their country.

I can see any other top team playing Sweden in Sweden also lose with scores such as 3-1.

+ I hate it how some people hate on IPL players calling them unprofessional and rubbish. Most IPL players play with gheirat and run till that last minute. Look at Amiri.
well that's the only thing which he is able to perform

I think that the only thing that puts Haghighi as our #1 GK is his confidence. He always seems very confident and that is really important for a goalie. Quality however... I dont know, he isnt really that special. He had a great WC but afterwards he has been average.

Missed the game but I bet we played with no offense in mind.

                        I thought we played alright.

Seriously some of you need to remember that we are Iran and not Germany.

Given CQ's departure and Neku's farewell, I wont put the team mentality in the right frame. My game was Chile's, I was not looking to get a result out of this game. So much uncertainties, given all that circumstances I feel we played well.

Not a bad performance by any means. The only truly disappointing players were Dejagah and haghighi. Everyone else was solid, even shojaei lol. Amiri was the MOM, and there are some fing retarded members who consistently post shit about Vahid. He is a talented player, who isnt scared of the opposition, which is just so vital.

If you didn't see the game, maybe you should avoid making assumptions.

It was a pretty open game. Both sides attacking, although Sweden was more efficient/incisive.

I still don't get why we kept crossing the ball all the time, swedish defenders were very tall, but they are also incredibly slow, Ronaldo scored a hattrick on them by 3 quick counters, I know that their line of defense was not that far up, but we still should've tried to attack a bit more from the ground.

And honestly.. looking back at the highlights, what was our defensive line doing?
First goal, Hashem was double marking a player in the box which left the player who assisted Zlatan totally open and free to recieve that pass.
Second goal, instead of marking that player who scored, Hosseini was standing on the goal line.
Third goal, how can you let him jump and head it above the two of you?
