Anyways some of the fan reactions of Iranians on social medias really surprise me, I don't understand how a player like Nekounam has haters, which apparently he has much more than I thought:

"خدایا شکرت"

"بهتر خداروشکر راحت شدیم"

"عجب :||||||||||||| زودتر از اینا باید خدافظی میکرد"

"چکش بالاخره خدافظی کرد"

"چکش به این راحتی دل نمی کنه که"
etc...

This guy said it well:

Animals, some of them are perspolisi fans, some others are ghalenoeie goons
They forget how all of iran including them (the haters) cheered up when nekounam scored against korea in tehran while iran had 10 men, or tens of other times that he scored for iran

Being Persepolis fan should not be the case. I am Persepolis fan but I love many players who came out of Taj, and I respect both Ando and Neko even Hashem. Those who bring themselves down to call names or feel at show dislike of Neko are pure butt hurt, jealous or underachievers.

I can not see anything questionable about Neko except his physical contacts he had once in the pitch with Karimi. I don't know what was behind it but it was clear Karimi was pissed and thought Neko has lost himself after gaining captain arm band. It could be jealousy, frustration from the match or somewhere else... Javad never said what was the case... he was not after the hashie

He served good Amir Mafia in sport court! the only person who went against him and won the case! True gentleman!

i doubt this will happen, specially if an iranian coach comes. i remember how unfair they were towards the last armenian footballer who was good enough for TM and hardly got called up (edmond bezik). although its been a long time from the bezik days, i still think the authorities would prefer to have a non-armenian/christian as team melli captain. as it is, jalal hosseini has a few more caps than ando. nevertheless, i think both hosseini and ando can be great captains

Well ando is the second captain right now, whenever javads not on the field ando becomes captain, so i would assume he would stay captain...

The good thing is there will be no argument within the players on who to be captain, and i doubt hosseini or anyone else would accept the captains armband as long as ando is on the field
