He said he has not heard about him but his scouts are doing a great job watching players for their needed positions and they keep doing this for next two months!

I think a move to PSV, AJAX, or Feynoord is better than Celtics. Even sitting half the time on bench in PSV worth more than guaranteed position in Celtic. JB is a technical player as some people said and Scottish football is more physical. If they break his leg then he is done very early. Just think who lasted in that position and you know what type of players can play well in Scottish league. ChaDuRI of S. Korea used to play at that position for Celtic. Dejagah can last there not JB.

of course he will,if he says they are keen then NEC will jack the price up even higher, but reality is he is cheap, young and can be good for them and celtic play alot in champion league so he will be a good addition to them

Yea i highly doubt he will make a move to Scotland. Hes loves Netherlands and their style suites him very nicely.

Also, can you imagine him understanding the Scottish accent? hes just started speaking English.

I didn't know about Nakamura but KSY is playing in CB not RW. RW and LW are the positions that get more physical and prone to fouls and injury specially when they are running. I think even KSY is physically in better condition compared to JB. KSY been to many clubs and grabbed enough experience there. JB position in a physical league is risky for the legs of a player with his physicality.

KSY is 187 JB is 180. Put them aside and see the difference is physic, position and style of play.

KSY plays as play maker and good for passing or free kicks, JB should run and use his technique. Many defenders in tough leagues use nasty tackles to control a fast technical player which can ruin a football player career. ChaDURI was good for this position. If you pay more attention to the NT you see CQ who has the physical fitness as one of his priority has chosen Dejagah almost all the time over JB. JB comes when the opponent team is not too physical or in last 20 min to sub for tired Dejagah...

Shunsuke Nakamura is also CB (AMF)... was 26 when joined Celtics. It turned good for him and scored many goals.

We need someone more familiar with Nakamura physicality to comment on that. I can not compare JB with Nakamura.

Do you remember which Nakamura... full name? I only can recall one Nakamura in my shady memories of childhood Someone from Japanese team who scored against our team before 1998 WC and caused Iran to go for play off against Australia. I remember a tough and tricky player.
Shunseke Nakamura..a legendary player for Japan.

I call bullcrap on this. Which team would come out and indicate their transfer target months before a transfer deadline? It's the worst thing you can do if you really want the player. You should keep quiet and buy him at a lower price.

I got him mixed up with Nakayama. After 2004 AC and fiasco of 2006 WC I stopped watching Asian football for years so my memory has a black hole there up to 2011 which I slowly reconnected to the show. I only followed it more during 2012-2013 WCQ and it has became more intense since 2014. I think it is another holiday time for me. I might watch some of the highlight of NT but I don't think I bring myself to watch whole matches while someone like GN or MK taking the lead!

I think Nakamura was at his prime around 2006-2010. Same years I was on my long vacation away from football...I did shook my memory and remembered some of his moves from here and there in grey areas. I may watch some ole videos to cover for those period.

He said he hadn't watched him but that our scouts might have. I reckon he's trying to keep this one quiet.

I think NEC put a price on him (2mil euro) so they wouldn't be able to negotiate anything lower. This would be the reason why teams could try to go for him well before the deadline. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.. Ive never understood how contracts for any professional sport works.

I dont agree with that , the dutch produce many top quality players and alot of great players have spent time at the dutch league including Ibra. Another thing is you have to consider what suites a player, maybe teymourian will be a good candidate there but someone like Jahanbakhsh wont be able to be as efficient since they're more physical. The dutch also get two berths for the Champions league as the Scottish get only one.
