The next coach will be a local basiji guy, who will destroy all the modern structure implemented by CQ, bring back mehdi rahmati and hence this will serve as a perfect excuse to make him our new captain.
You just need to watch this guy Asadi in his interviews, he is full of hatred, the only task he s been given is to completely demolish our team.

Ando gives always 100% in TM games & lifts the other players moral with his fighting spirit and energy so it is a natural choice I think

From AS (famous spanish football newspaper):

"Teymourian to be named first Christian captain of Iran

Former Bolton and Fulham midfielder will assume the armband after retirement of Osasuna's Javad Nekounam.

The Iranian national football team will for the first time have a Christian captain. Iranian news agency ISNA, Iranian-Armenian midfielder Andranik Teymourian, an Orthodox Christian who played for Bolton Wanderers and Fulham in the Premier League and is now at Tractor Sazi, will be named captain of the national side after the international retirement of Osasuna midfielder Javad Nekounam.

In the 95-year history of the Iran national team there has never been a Christian captain of the side. Teymourian came to prominence at Aboumoslem and was shortly afterwards called up for the first time for Iran and has since featured at the 2006 and 2014 World Cups."
