Elo is geographically correct, FIFA is monetarily correct But seriously, ELO is more accurate...there was a wonderful piece written a few years back on PFDC comparing ELO and FIFA.

How about Australia?

According to ELO, they are part of Oceania...they are 1st in Oceania and 32nd in the world, behind Iran and S. Korea.

It doesn't need to be created. We have one global soccer federation and its already existing World Cup.
Although I do take it as a complement that if one needed to be created you consider Sharif University alumni as the ones capable of doing so as people who have been to Sharif University are extremely intellegent.

I said the brains at, not the brains who left sharif...lol Also, we can have more than one global soccer showpiece...like in other sports where they have multiple major sporting tournaments (e.g., Vball World League, World Cup, Olympics)

Let us know when the ELO World Cup is being planned for as it currently does not exist. Should Sharif University students be approached as you have suggested to plan the tournament, it will definitely be a smashing success.
