In only few months hell be out of the U19s and will start playing senior football. Im excited to see if he gets a pro contract with the 1st team or gets to play in their 2nd team (Spanish 3rd division).
1st team will be very difficult of course and hell probably get very few minutes playing time (usually in Spain Copa del Rey), however maybe a loan out to a Liga Adelante team for a year also wont be bad. In that case im almost sure hell already get invited if Quieroz should somehow remain our head coach.

Anyways hes still only 18 so even a season or two in Spains 3rd division with Atletico B is great for him, as it seems hell get to train with the main team every now and then.

Loans to 2nd division teams are the most likely path of Saeid if he ever wants to become a fixed player in the main team.

Ebrahimi have done over 10 apps for tm and he is long time in tm radar. But mostly he was invisible or just total weak with lot mistakes ,thats why Cq let Hadadifar play mostly.
I cant undstand why so many want see him as a starter. I cant deny that he is doing great in Ipl in Sepahan and SS.

Actually he could benefit from playing a year in Liga Adelante, not only because its a division higher than the 3rd division where Atletico B plays, but also because he gets to play pure Senior football there. Only one team in Liga Adelante is a youth team (Barca B, and it seems even they could relegate), while Spanish division 3 is full of youth teams (Real Madrid B, Atletico Madrid B, Valencia B, ...)

Saeed hanooz bayad bepazeh, he is certainly promising young talent but to me he just doesn’t have Yet that maturity and toughness needed to step up to senior level, like Azmoun did..!

Ebrahimi seems a little too short and lightweight for international level DM ..!! he moves brilliantly without the ball and provides outlet for ball carriers all over the pitch but i just don’t see him really becoming a legit Neku replacement..!! i think he is more of a CM than a DM

Haghighi showed good promise and he certainly possessed the physicality and size for the position but don’t really know whatever happened to him after the World cup..!!????

ATM, Id be more tempted to adapt PAG to Neku’s position ..!! He just doesn’t seem very comfortable in CB position ..!!

I say we use Ezzatolahi for the weaker TM opponents, the ones on the level of Maledives, Indonesia e/a. For the bigger matches we need a more experienced player like Ebrahimi or Haddadifar

You can be sure that if Ebrahimi wasn't physically strong enough for a defensive midfielder, he wouldn't be regularly invited by CQ. And he's pretty much in every TM squad since 2012. I don't know if anyone that makes this remark actually watched him play, or if they only refer to his height to judge his physicality.

The same Pouraliganji that you suggest to move to Neku's position is weaker than Ebrahimi physically Height doesn't necessarily translate in strength. Nigel de Jong is a 174cm DM who played several years as a starter for the Dutch national team, sure he is short, even shorter than Ebrahimi but no way he is lightweight.

You guys should watch some of his league matches and the Iraq friendly where he played a good part of the game, he was literally bullying Iraqi players.

Reza Haghighi is tall and strong but his ground game isn't the best we have in that position, he is totally out of form in the league as well. Haddadifar is good but getting old, ditto for Mobali and Bakhtiar is more of a CAM.
Ebrahimi is arguably the best option we have and a pretty solid one, now that he will get more playing time I'm sure he will show himself well.

And btw, Ebrahimi is as tall as Ando (1cm smaller)

When I saw the players Omid also looked pretty stocky and strong, compared to a lot of players who looked very skinny.

i think we should change our formation and play with one defensive mid. We don't have another defensive midfielder with javad's quality. We should now just use Ando as our defensive mid. defensively no one will be able to fill in nekounam's spot next to ando.

Ebrahimi is a decent replacement. Despite the fact that he is short he is actually pretty strong and has good aerial ability.

If only ezzatollahi could get in the first team of AM. Then the position is his to lose.

I tell you guys what, his position in atletico is pretty much stacked with options like Suarez, Gabi, Saul and mendes .

It will be a massive challenge to actually get minutes in the first team.

Nobody we have now can really replace Javad....and even Ando. Those 2 are in my opinion the best defensive mid tandem ever in Iran.

But we do have some good players who can play admirably in that position.

Ebrahimi as mentioned, Reza Haghighi, Saghebi (who I think is an AM, but sometimes plays further back), Kamal Kamyabinia, Ali Karimi (sepahan) are just a few off the top of my head. Ezatollahi if we are looking to go extremely young and give him exp.

Amin Nazari would be a great option if he were to accept playing for Iran this time considering we played really well against Chile and Sweden. Sweden may have won the match, but we played with pride and passion and showed the world how much our fans love us.
