Who should replace Nekounam in the midfield?

Ezzatollahi...he is 18 now...but in a year or two he can break in next to Ando and become boss in the MF within 5 years!

i think the PP young player Ahmad Nourollahi will have a great future with experience. He doesnt have much offensive skills at this point, but his running and defensive skills remind me of a young Ando.
What do you guys think?

For now of course ebrahimi. He has been really solid all year and is in the prime of his career ATM

Ezzatolahi should slowly be inserted into the XI over the next two years so he will be ready by the time 2018 comes around. Nekounam's shoes are way too big for an 18 yr old with minimal experience to be filled. He will be ready in due time but not just yet.

Bakhtiar is more of a CAM than CM/DM, he won't be able to defend as well as someone like Ebrahimi. Like GA said I would certainly go with Ebrahimi for now while waiting to see how Ezzatollahi progresses.

Ezzatollahi or Karimi . We need a tall and strong DM (neku;zare, bageri). Ebrahimi is to small and weak with the header. Rahmani the same.

Haddadifar is playing great this season but he's too old. I think Ebrahimi will replace him and Ezzatollahi will be a sub.

Ali Karimi will be an option before Ezzatollahi, he's older and more experienced. Saeid is still very young for TM, and will probably come towards the end of WCQ. For the time being any coach will probably opt for Ebrahimi.

spot on. sucks that we couldn't call up some Omid players because of the Qualifiers! would of been great experience for Karimi, Saghebi and even Motahari.

Right now we don't have a top top holding midfielder in Iran. Ebrahimi is a great player but he's proved this season for Esteghlal that he's much better playing in front of the holding midfielders. Haddadifard is also ageing hence isn't a suitable replacement in the long run.
