    TM 2015-2016

    4-1-2-1-2

    ---------------Biranvand----------------
    Ghafouri-Hosseini-Pouraligangi-Hajsafi
    --------------Teymourian---------------
    Jahanbakhsh----------------------Amiri
    ---------------Dejagah-----------------
    -------Ghoochannejhad-Azmoun------

This team plays to our greatest strengths in my opinion. Dejagah is the perfect player to take up the CAM position in my mind. His technical skilling is wasted on the wings. He belongs in the middle leading the attacks. This team would wreak havok in Asia.

When Teymourian retires in the next 2-3 years, Ezatollahi will be ready to take his place. The only piece that I feel would be great to fill is a strong-tall CB to team up with PAG for the future. Imagine a Vincent Kompany type player in the Iranian jersey locking down crosses into the box. I think a team with those puzzle pieces filled could be the best team in Asia for the next 4 years easily.

Having a good coach is the only problem. If CQ doesn't return, I hope that we can get a guy like Javier Clemente or another decent Western European coach who is currently not coaching any reputable team.

I would like to see APG move up and play DM as opposed to CB.

Ebrahimi as of now but in the long run it will be Ezzatolahi for sure.

Although I should have written in my comment that no one will ever replace Nekounam

Long term Ezatollahi. Remember Javad was 21 when he became a starter for TM.

If CQ is no longer here we should move to a 4-4-2. Have Azmoun and Ansarifard start together.

                  None of the options!!!

Either we should opt to other formations or we should consider A. Karimi from Sepahan or even maybe Ezzatollahi.

I understand everyone is excited of the prospect of Ezzatollahi (me included), but no coach in the right mind would put a 18 year old kid who played few minutes in the IPL and still plays in a youth team as the holding midfielder of the national team, except if we were Bhutan or something. The question is who should replace Nekounam in the midfield, not who will be the next Nekounam. We need a solid player in that position, who for now the best option is Omid Ebrahimi, and Ali Karimi is looking to step in during the WCQ the way things are going.

We still have to wait and see how Ezzatollahi develops in a proper league where only then he can be considered, which I'm sure he will. Javad was very young when he started playing for Iran, but as it was said here he was still 21-22 years old when he played regularly for TM. 3 years from now Saeid will be 21, he is still too young and has a lot of time to prove himself. I know the name "Atletico Madrid" puts the spotlight on him but we have to think logically, he is far from ready yet.

I dont think he deserves to start. He has been disappointing for the past year and keeps getting an opportunity over so many that have played better than him. Khalatbari, Ghazi, Shahbazzade, M.sharifi, Taromi, and even the Zob ahan guy Hassanzadeh - all these guys should be given a chance IMO. I want Ansarifard to stay in TM but not as a starter. He needs to improve and not have priority over everyone just because he's in Osasouna. (Hes been disappointing there too)

That's been a problem with TM - once a player is a legionnaire, they're priority over any other player even if they dont impress.

Perhaps we can coax Mahdavikia and Bagheri out of retirement while we're at it.

If we're gonna resurrect 90's tactics, we may as well resurrect 90's players.

lets just say we have no one to replace Neko. It will be a empty spot for a foreseeable future. Sadly!

I agree with everyone who said Ezzatolahi, but not now, he is a very exciting player. He is talented, he plays for the youth team of a great club, he is really tall and seems to be physically strong, but he has no experience. for that position we need someone with experience. Ezzatolahi has still some time to go. I'm sure when the time comes, he will be magnificent in team melli and I personally can not wait for that moment.

Also, interestingly he wears "6" for team melli javanan. Nekounam's number in the senior team

                              Go saeid!
