Who should replace Nekounam in the midfield?

I know 2nd division in Norway is actually quite alright when you're on loan. He's currently in a better standing than his brother, Omid, who now plays in the 3 tier of Sweden. There were many players in the past decade who were invited to TM that were not fixed players, because the coaches preferred these players such as Khanzadeh, Yaghoub Karimi (while in Sepahan & Esteghlal), Ansarifard (Osasuna), and many more. Just because they play in lower divisions or do not get enough playing time does not mean they lack the quality of being TM material. CQ chooses players for his tactics and not tactics for his players, his line-ups and formations in the previous games are proof enough. Tall central defender, side backs who are both defensively well in the center on sides with good crossing abilities, utility players in midfield, speedy technical wingers, and a center forward with a good heading ability & physical strength (Gucci maybe shorter, when to Ghazi and Azmoun, but he has proven to very vital in games).

Certainly, It does. And you are wrong here. Ansarifard was a great striker and best goal scorer of IPL for couple of season. The other players you mentioned from IPL are very good. IPL is better than 1st division Norway, Finland, or Sweden. Gucci was a great scorer and former u-17 u-19 of Belgium.

Favoritism exists in our football culture, and so does in TM. If you look at the current and past coaches there were many players who introduced mainly due to status than performance. I do not agree with your statement that IPL is better than these European League. We are only the best in the Middle East, and probably second or third in Asia.

Haddadifar & Ebrahimi in the short term. Ali Karimi in the long term.

My vote goes to "The rocket launcher" Omid Ebrahimi.

I wish Reza Haghighi could get back in form. Everyone thought he would be Nekunam's best replacement a couple of years ago!
