I don't get it. In the west, they keep preaching "don't mix politics with sports" and goes "shame on Iran for mixing politics with sports". Yet, the money ain't allowed to be received by our team because of politics. Gotta love western double standards..

          Source: http://www.khabaronline.ir/%28X%281%...rt/iran-soccer

          The summary:

Ok so apparently there is a meeting today between kaffashian and CQ to see weather CQ will stay or not. Kaffashian is going to start by saying that we are satisfied with your work and we want you to continue as head coach and if you dont then you are resigning and we cannot give you any compensation.

Before leaving for Austria, CQ told Kaffashian the problem is not just Assadi - but the fact that federations decisions are being made somewhere else by someone else. Apppearntly CQ wants his salary for the last 4 months but on the contrary the federation is demanding compensation from CQ for resigning. The only way CQ will continue is if there is an official department made that will be led by kaffashian and noone else will be able to interfere. In this case, assadi will not have a say in anything but it doesn't sound too realistic given the fact that Assadi was put there by Goudarzi.

The last thing that mentions at the end is that after the meeting , the board of directions will decide if they want CQ or not, which is predicted by them wanting him to stay and most likely CQ will say he will not cooperate anymore with the same conditions and this will give the federation the upper hand to say CQ didnt want to continue himself and make life easier for them against so many people staying behind CQ!

So the war begins....It will be interesting to see what will happen but doesn't sound too good for CQ...

What the federation wants is for them to come to an agreement and nobody pay any compensation. This is not something acceptable by CQ as he believes there has been a breach of contract by others deciding his roster basically. He wants something out of this but Kaffashian will not give in and has said "CQ cannot be mad at the situation as it is part of the contract" - this is turning into some ugly mess. My optimism is slowly fading...

that seem to be the case, but i think since iff dont wanna pay compensation, keeping him will be better for them at least till 2017, let not forget if we go world cup iff will get another 8million dollars

Looks like we have another clear case of government interference and I bet if that isn't resolved quickly, we will have a FIFA investigation.

Yes this is a scary a situation. CQ is no scrub to FIFA he has worked as their analyst and we all know FIFA wont think twice to fine and ban Iran.

I hope IFF gets banned when Queiroz leaves Iran. That way we won't have to deal with these low-lives any longer. Reading Dejagah's interview made me sick.

There will always be crooks and charlatans running the IFF. Some are just less despicable then others. Even if we get rid of these fools, others will just fill the vacancy

Video above. One of the members of the board of directors of our football.

Same boring story. We want him until 2018 world cup - people want him - but he may not want to stay anymore - he might have talked with other teams.

This is IR. You give them one excuse theyll stick with that one excuse all the way no matter what.

We as fans should launch a similar campaign like after Iran-Iraq by putting pressure on IFF at social media.
