I'm Shirazi with a Khoozestani background and based on what I've seen is that most Shirazi's and Khoozestani's are Esteghlali (especially the Khoozestani's).

Dear Mods, please don't allow such things here.

Even if I was in support of such a movement, or that particular image was representative of such a movement, it should be negated by the actual lyrics of the song (which I'm assuming neither of you understand). Also, what's with the hasty jump to have things censored/deleted by a mod? Don't most of us criticize certain governments for not allowing free speech/expression (along with countless other things)? That being said, my intention wasn't to promote any kind of separatist rhetoric, or anything even remotely political.

Second off, just because there's a photo of a map with the Azeri flag (which isn't fake btw) extended over to what is even in Iran considered "Iranian-Azarbaijan", doesn't necessarily mean that it's in support of a separatist movement. There's a difference between Azari/Azeri pride and separatist propaganda.

Can you tell us what the state flags of Tehran, Isfahan or Khuzestan look like? Because the last time I checked the flag in the video (not to mention the area it covered on the map) was for a country other than Iran.
To even try to mastmali the separatism in that video is absurd.I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

And you can't possibly compare the city of Tehran, Esfahan, or Khuzestan, 1. to Ostane Azarbaijan (the region of Azarbaijain) 2. to a region filled with people who are ethnically and culturally just as if not more similar to the people in the country of Azerbaijan.
A more accurate comparison is probably southerners driving around with the Confederate flag as a symbol of their southern pride, even though the flag also represents southern advocacy to secede from the US and some racist sentiment. Although some or even most of the people representing the confederate flag hold those sentiments, some are just using it as a symbol for their southern pride, and not all the baggage that comes with it.
