well, this is more or less the same case for Foolad Khuzestan. I may be wrong, but most, if not all their supporters are Arab; their chants etc are in arabic and there are many separatists and pan arabs between them as well.
Anyways, Malavan is the perfect club to support, we have ba-gheyrat supporters, players ... oh and we don't have any separatist in Anzali

And you can't possibly compare the city of Tehran, Esfahan, or Khuzestan, 1. to Ostane Azarbaijan (the region of Azarbaijain) 2. to a region filled with people who are ethnically and culturally just as if not more similar to the people in the country of Azerbaijan.

A more accurate comparison is probably southerners driving around with the Confederate flag as a symbol of their southern pride, even though the flag also represents southern advocacy to secede from the US and some racist sentiment. Although some or even most of the people representing the confederate flag hold those sentiments, some are just using it as a symbol for their southern pride, and not all the baggage that comes with it.
All you have to do is show me the flag of the states of Tehran, Isfahan and Khuzestan. And until then the fake country of Azerbaijan can keep riding Russia's dick.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Not just that single image, then what else? And anything is enough to insult anyone if they misinterpret it.

No idea wtf the rest of your rant is going on about.

Like I said, Tehran, Esfahan and Khuzestan are cities not states. They along with Tabriz and other cities have their own seals, but no flag. Ostane Azarbaijan has no seal or flag of its own, so it only seems natural that some Azaris would adopt the Azeri flag as a symbol of their ethnic, cultural, and regional pride. It's not necessarily symbolic of a separatist movement.

you dont seem to understand. why would real azarbijan use a flag of a different country that they do not share nothing with except the other countries copying them shamelessly. that flag means nothing to azaris. it would be an embaressment for a real azari to wave that flag.

They share nothing? Except language, and similar ethnic and cultural background?
You don't seem to understand that there's a difference nationalism/national pride and ethnic, cultural and regional pride.

they share their ethnic and cultural background with other iranians and they are proud to be iranian. azaris look more and have more in common with an arab speaking iranian from khouzestan than they do with arunians. besides if i pretend to be you and call myself by your name will that make you proud to be similar to me? azaris dont give a flying fvck about the flag you posted.

lol, exactly. Case and point. WE don't care much about that flag. When we see it, we don't think separatist movement. You do.

As has been made evident to you during the course of this thread, the only sensible option is Teraaktor. Why support merely a team that plays football when you can have one that does so whilst simultaneously causing civil upheaval and making superb political statements

this is very contradictory to your previous posts saying it is a symbol of your pride. i think you are confused and are acting aloof as well why else would you pretend showing a flag of a fake soviet country over parts of iran is meaningless? i already told you what azaris think of that flag.

It's really not contradictory. When we see the flag in reference to Iranian Azarbaijan, we don't make much of it other than that it represent Azari/Azeri pride, regional pride. Most of us don't see it necessarily as a political statement or symbolic of any kind of separatist movement.

You on the other hand are making it political, and bringing in your personal views about the country of Azerbaijan, questioning their legitimacy as a state, and claiming their flag "is an insult to 80 million Iranians".

And for the record I didn't post an image of the Azeri flag, I posted a nice song about Tractor that makes no reference to the separatist movement in the lyrics. You guys are taking a single image in the video out of context, arguably misinterpreting it, making it political, and attributing it to a whole fanbase/region.

I'm done arguing with you guys over this.

Yes, jackass. I do know Iran. Tehran is a city, capitol of the PROVINCE OF TEHRAN, and Isfahan is also a city and the capitol of the PROVINCE OF ISFAHAN.
