Yea look Oman is a quality side and I doubt they will beat us, but there is a chance of it. Remember 3-1?
There is no doubt we will get out of this group with almost all possibly points, but that does not mean there won't be a scare or two in the process.

Throughout history, it has been the inaction of those who could have acted, the indifference of those who should have known better, and the silence of the voice of justice when it mattered most that has made it possible for evil to triumph.
I think we'll beat Oman 1-0 or 2-0. The TM that lost to Oman is far from the same team as they are today. We had a lot of trouble beating Qatar and Bahrain back then too, teams who we didn't have any trouble with in the Asian Cup.
This is the squad that lost to oman in the friendly. So nowhere near our team now but nonetheless won't be easy.
That was basically an uncoordinated experimental "B" squad in preparation for our remaining three 2014 WCQ games.
Other than Ahmadi (full game and fixed goalie at this point) and Rezaei and Ebrahimi (for a couple of minutes) none of those players played in our next game against Qatar.
Moslaman, Hajsafi and Rezaei also played in the game against Lebanon (all under 20 minutes) and Haj and Rezaei against Korea (as subs again).

Al Habsi is a good GK...I think we will beat them but it won't be as easy as some of you think. I would be happy with a 2-0 scoreline.
He looks pissed and I'm not taking that hostage comment lightly. Maybe he really wants to leave, but they're not letting him. This is going from a bad situation for TM to becoming a major international incident very quickly.
