Poor quality of the IPL? It's good enough in Asia, and definitely on top in terms of producing local talent, if the IPL is poor quality, what should the expectations of a team like UAE with their league where their domestic players don't do crap, where their team never even had a European legionnaire? Or Uzbekistan whose teams never even make the group stage in ACL? This is not an excuse, we have no infrastructures, corruption, etc.. but we still produce quality players in that league. It's a team that consisted mostly of IPL players that almost held Argentina to a draw in Brazil.
In that domain CQ has the right material to work with and if we had no talent, CQ wouldn't get near the results he got with us. He coached UAE, Mozambique and crap national teams like that, why did he not do jack with them?
I feel if Daei or Ghotbi was at CQ's place his head would be cut off by now.
2) If you think IPL is good, and just because we have 3-4 teams in ACL and get a win here and there you think IPL is better than Japan, Korea and the Persian Gulf Nations.
3) your logic and rations is completely flawed!! so I will pull a MK on you, CQ had all the talent and resource at RM, why didn't he succeeded LOOL does that answer your question for UAE and South Africa or even Portugal to some extendIRI = FAILED

In fact, had CQ stayed in Manchester United instead of taking the Portuguese coaching job, he would have been first in line to take over once Ferguson retired.

It's sad that we're throwing the current TM squad under the bus saying they have no talent, we're throwing old TM players under the bus saying they're stupid, we're throwing all the talent in the IPL under the bus, and this Javadi guy went as far as throwing the whole country under the bus by saying Iran is a third world country.
It's just REALLY sad how far some of us are willing to go in this debate and how much we're willing to belittle everything that is Iranian to make a point or defend a single man. It seems like CQ is not only the one bright spot in our football, but he has become the one bright spot in our entire shitty existence from the beginning to the end.
Surely, there are better ways to argue whatever points we're arguing.

I would love to see where CQ ends up after Iran. Probabaly UAE or something like that.
This is why he always says "gulf" instead of "persian gulf". Keeping his options open. I never liked that part either.

First of all, Iran is a third world country, lets call a spade a spade on that one.
Secondly, we need to examine who we are looking at here. Put aside the supporters on both sides. Forget about Mansourian, Yahya, Azizi, and Abedzadeh.
This is between CQ and the federation. Now, lets look closer at both sides. CQ is CQ, we know his past, we know what he has done and what he hasn't done.
Now who is in the federation? This is where it gets murky. We have no idea who half the guys there are, what their background is, and what business they have in discussing CQ's staying or departure. Who are they? Why are they in the shadows? They are IR goons, simple as that. They were all born, lived, and worked under IR their whole lives.
Now, knowing that IR goons are full of lies, why would I listen to anything they say? Anything coming out of the federation is either a total lie, or a large skewing of the truth

We have great gems like the names I mentioned and I would rate our team definitely one of the 2-3 top talented teams in Asia.
I don't understand your second point, but we have to measure our situation with other teams; Hence I say if you think our league is bad, what should the expectations of a team like UAE be where their domestic players don't do jack or Uzbekistan whose clubs can't do better than last place in ACL groups?
And finally my point is that if he had no talent he wouldn't be able to do half the things he did with this team. He managed South Africa, UAE like you say and couldn't come 1/4 close to qualifying to the World Cup.
If a coach doesn't have the right material to work with, he won't be able to do any miracle. You can put Mourinho as Afghanistan's coach and say they have no talent, but he won't qualify them to the World Cup.
So yes, the fact that you say we have no talent is absolutely shocking to me, I personally can't understand it.
