Azizi now insists we should have defeated Iraq with ten men while in an interview prior to that game he had said the following: 'Iran will have a tough match against Iraq. We've run into a hard rock! I think we'll have problems against Iraq. We would have been better off facing Japan instead. Against Iraq we might even get eliminated." Now that there are talks of CQ leaving, he's giving different interviews criticizing the coach for losing with ten men against the same team he had called a 'hard rock'.

with his Lucky goal we finally tied AUS and qualified. My Heart was about to stop over a month til we qualified. With CQ we
even topped South korea last WCQ and went to World cup in lesser steps.
Azizi does not even remember his Club FC koln lost so many games for him travelling to Iran all the time and was relegated. Un alzaymer dare ma chi?

I can tell you from an interesting point of view:

Austria's current situation is very similar to TM.

In 2011 they also brought a foreign coach, but from Switzerland, Marcel Koller (who btw coached Vahid Hashemian at Bochum)

Before the Koller era Austria disappointed in the WC and EURO qualifiers. Since the WC 1998, Austria didn't qualify for a tournament (they were hosts in 2008) and regressed since then

Austria had no tactics, no real unity, disputes between players and they were coached by an Austrian. Domestic coaches in Austria are as good as our own Vatani coaches in Iran

When Koller was appointed many experts critisized the federation's decision. And some so called "coaches" with no real CV were very pessimistic about the future

What did Marcel Koller do? Brought discipline, unity, lets his team playing beautiful and effective football, fans love him and the team. The friendly and qualification games are constantly sold out (even the friendly against Bosnia)

They narroly missed the WCQ playoffs, and the "Austrian Ghalenoeis and Mayelikohans" critisized him and said he brought nothing to Austrian football, but Austrian FA decided to extend his contract and they are growing constantly and are being recognized a very tough side from International media

They are currently leading the Euro qualification group

If IFF can manage to convince CQ to stay it will have a very positive outcome for our progress. We could qualify for 2018 without any "ama va agar" and become a respected side in international football

I actually liked this Javadi fella - he tried to stick to logic whilst the wayward MK, tried to portray him as someone who mislead public and is anti IRI.

Isn't it sad that disappointingly our OMID team is in the hand of people like MK, God help us!

It would be good if one of CQ's conditions to stay would be to exile MK to a remote island in the Indian ocean. Being a traditional man still living in stone ages he wouldn't mind using a coconut as a football to coach the locals.

im not gonna lie, i dont really think he is a good keeper but be honest he played very well against Al Nasr! had some great saves. yeah he is pretty shaky but he gets invited for the 3rd string keeper which suits him. who else would you invite? its either him or frouzan. seems like one camp its Makani and another camp is frouzan.

OK. I admit Azizi's remarks about CQ are just stupid. But he was a fantastic footballer and his goal against Australia was no luck. Outside of the field he is just a constant complainer.
