Apparently there's not going to be any more meetings between CQ and IFF, but the correspondence is now just through e-mail.

Kaffashian has said that they've discussed everything that needed to be discussed in a couple of 4 to 5 hour meetings, so CQ can just let them know via e-mail or by phone what his decision is.

CQ apparently sent an e-mail to Kaffashian today asking for guarantees about certain things. There are differing reports on what those things entail, with the most basic one being the training facility for TM and proper uniforms (all reports agree on this part).

Some other reports mention more preposterous things (and therefore should be taken with a grain of salt) such as a private plane for TM and a new contract for uniforms with Adidas or Nike and cancelling the contract with Uhlsport which Kaffasian allegedly has disagreed with saying the issue of TM"s sponsor is beyond CQ's scope of work.

Its so Obvious that CQ wants to stay, but IMO, their are elements within IFF and sports ministry that continue to trash CQ and hence get his bad side out to push him out by his own doing so they dont end up paying any penalties and telling fans that it was CQ who left and was not fired! ....CQ IMO must be smarter than that to play into their hands.

I want to throw up every time I watch these interviews, debates, panels of so called experts discussing the faith of the national head coach. This whole thing is so sick. just a demonstration of how fcked up that country and it's culture has become courtesy of akhound and paasdar. Even in zoozooland people don't behave this way. These people have no idea how things are done in civilized way ....no wonder the world sees as as bunch of vahshi .. .

This article talks about how the Ministry (Goudarzi) had a change of heart in the last week or so and is extremely interested in keeping CQ. That's why they have sent this new guy "Hosni kho" to be part of the negotiations and basically to get rid of Assadi's interference with anything related to CQ which is what CQ wanted exactly. Also, it says Kaffashian has sent a emotional letter to CQ and talks about how he really wants him to continue his work in Iran and he will do everything to resolve all the side issues that CQ has requested such as better pitch, camps, friendlies and whatnot.

It really looks promising as the people's voice is finally heard and ministry is finally supporting to keep CQ. Now it looks like Kaffashian is trying everything so he will be credited with saving CQ and the ministry probably wants the same thing...Either way it looks promising and looks like none of the officials truly want CQ to leave when it comes down to it but we can't be sure until the meeting is over today but again it looks promising!

I let my father translate that for me lol, and I thought it was informative. But I am still learning Farsi so I will be able to read soon

I downloaded two apps that helped me alot: Farsi For Kids - Reading , and the app Learn Farsi (persian) Alphabet. I try to read 1-2 articles a day and when i forget a letter i just open up the second app. Its difficult when the language gets very formal like in news articles but sport articles I read very fluid. I'm progressing very well. And I'm reading light litterature right now wich is a better source for learning than short articles. Next time i travel to iran I'm going to take a 1 month beginners intensive course.

Not really TM news but I thought it was interesting and thought I'd share it... According to this article, Marcelo Bielsa is being offered a massive deal from KSA since his contract with his current club, Marseille runs out this summer and apparently Bielsa has already accepted the offer, an offer that came from Al-Waleed bin Talal who's apparently the most influential arab in the world. (LoL) His salary will be 93 million kronor per year, around 10 million dollars a year.
Just shared it because I think a lot of us want KSA in the next WCQ and I would love some action between IRAN - 0-8 and CQ vs. Bielsa (if CQ stays - I hope).

LOL. So Team jam kon (Hooman Afazeli) is claiming that hes the one that found Carlos Queiroz for Iran and he is the first person to offer a contract to him....LIES!
Now, this guy is a big time CQ criticizer and apparently was a guest on a TV show recently and talked about CQ tactics and how it doesn't suite TM. I also read somewhere that while on the same show he was pointing out flaws on Mourinio and Guardiola coaching. LOL

The balls on this guy. This guy was never qualified to coach any team yet Kaffashian put him in charge of many youth teams and in charge of TM on few occasions just so he can learn coaching and get experienced so he can be used on the technical team and as Kaffashian's puppet. Now this ungrateful , good-for-nothing guy thinks he's the big shot and criticizes CQ.

This is the product of giving away coaching jobs to schmucks like him that have never played a minute before and basically make him a decision maker in our football.

That's interesting. V3 just reported that he (Daei) is going on a UK trip and has registered for his pro-coaching licence in the UK. If true, that would decommission him for a while. It's nice to see more and more Iranian coaches see the need to go for the pro license:

Queiros has said that they had a very good meeting, what was said in the meeting is very good for the TM and they should ask any questions thay have from kaffashian.
