BREAKING: After the meeting was finished, CQ has filed a complaint with the IFF About Torabian.

Still no official announcement, although I don't see why he would have filed a complaint if he's not wishing to stay in Iran

BREAKING: Kaffashian says most issues have been resolved and CQ will most likely stay.

      http://www.mehrnews.com/news/2530987...87%DB%8C%D9%85

He says they had a good meeting and there were obviously some misunderstandings that had led to the discussions on CQ departing, but with Hosni Khoo's help we have resolved most of those problems. I don't want to say that we have resolved all the problems, but most of them and CQ has agreed to continue working with us and to resolve the remaining issues.

He says most of CQ's issues were about financial matters and both the federation and the ministry have agreed to resolve those problems and they will definitely be resolved. And CQ has promised to start his work today, although these talks are still conditional and we still have to be patient.

We agree that we have to resolve these problems and reduce CQ's stress - he continues to want the best for TM. We even know that TM's training ground has issues, but we've said that we will resolve all the problems within our capabilities. CQ has worked with us for 4 years and knows our limitations, but we will work harder than before to resolve these issues.

He goes on to say that CQ had certain requests/expectations and I admit that the federation hasn't been able to facilitate all those requests as far as TM. Perhaps in some areas we haven't performed well enough, but that doesn't mean that we haven't worked hard in those areas, it just means that there were a lot of problems to be resolved.

I hope this news will reduce all the negativity on PFDC and all the doom and gloom - not to mention the hostility toward everything and everyone from IFF to SM to our own members.

And I hope all the people who ranted and raved about the sports ministry being hell bent on getting rid of CQ and calling the rest of us stupid (among other names) for wanting to stick with the facts rather than hearsay, reevaluate their rude and abrasive behavior going forward.

There are obviously limitations within the IFF and the IR as a whole, but we really don't need to dwell in them or mention them in every other post - everyone knows what they are. We all want what's best for TM.

I'm just glad TM has a capable coach and we can finally move forward and focus on WCQ.

But more importantly, it's nice to see any organization within the IR succumb to the will of the people. Perhaps sign of better things to come.

Lets wait until it is for sure before we assume he will stay...For most part it seems like it has been a good meeting but no official announcement made to to talk about the details yet.

I'm just sitting here laughing what the foreign websites will say this time if he stays as our coach. They probably will never announce his resignation again until they see us with a new coach

Is this kafashian saying he thinks that queiroz will stay and giving his usual percentages? Or has queiroz officially said he will stay.

Kaffashian is just giving his opinion as to what he thinks will happen. Nothing official yet, seems like there will be more meetings, but CQ did say it was a good meeting and seems like they're getting somewhere. We can stay hopeful it's going towards the right direction at least.

^^^ Nothing from CQ yet, other than it was a good meeting and everyone should wait for the official announcement, which was the right thing to do for him and very professional - although I'm sure we will hear from him now that the official announcement has been made. Speaking of which, here's what Hosni Khoo had to say about the meeting:

                      http://vapasin.com/sport/details/418...A7%D8%B3%D8%AA

Basically same stuff as Kaffashian, except he's a bit more reserved than Kaffashian in his comments [which is a good thing, considering Kaffashian gets a little too excited some times]

He says that our football is going through a rough period and we have to work for TM and making people (TM fans) happy and "almost all of us" are in agreement with CQ continuing his work and we (both IFF and SM) have done all we can to make that happen.

He says we came to an agreement about a lot of important issues, but there are still some financial and management issues that we all have to still try and resolve . Our wish to keep CQ and we're very hopeful that will happen.

I hope this is the end of a long negotiation saga resulting in Carlos Queiroz staying as head coach.

Hopefully we can finally start concentrating on Russia 2018.

They just picked up the old story from days ago where there were still issues between CQ and IFF.

According to the latest news some issues have been solved and CQ will remain as our head coach.

Therefore I think BBC's article is not up to date.
