I never understood why Karim waited THAT long. Well, of course there's the wages, but if that was the only case he could've gone to Qatar or some other shit country for a short term deal.

Relax guys. His contract finishes in the summer and he is only 23 ( born June of 1992 according to transfermarkt).

This means even more clubs would be interested because he will be free to transfers. IMO, he shouldn't go to 2.Bundesliga.

After watching Haji Safi's games, I can say I'm not too fond of it.

I know this won't happen, but Shojaei could really bolster some of the top teams in our league for the final half of the season.
Whether it be:

EsEs Khuzestan, to give them some more depth and veteran presence as they fight for the title.
Persepolis, who could use another attack minded CM, and some help for their title push.
Zob Ahan, who could use more depth and leadership for ACL, as well as a fresh player for the title race.
Naft Tehran, which is as stable a club you will find in Iran at the moment.
Saipa, his team before he left to Europe. Could also help them push for the title, as well as join his Osasuna partner, Nekounam.

I don't think he wants to come back to our league though.

Arminia Bielefeld and SC Freiburg interested in Mehdi Taremi. In addition to that, Russian clubs were offering him a contract aswell. However, he wants to stay until the end of the season.
