I know, but my question is why just a few years ago, Euro teams weren't so cheap as they are now in buying established Iranian players.
O-Zone said it's because African players are as good, but cheaper, but why are Japanese and Aussies still getting a decent amount of transfers for higher values? There seems to be a bias against Iranian players, and it seems to be pretty obvious. Hajsafi is 10x the player that Ali Adnan is for Iraq, yet he moves to Udinese in Serie A, and we haven't had a player in Serie A since Rahman Rezaei.
Teams were willing to pay a decent amount for Iranians from 2000-2009. Since then, there has been a major drop-off in interest, and I used to think it was because we missed the 2010 WC, but after our decent showing in Brazil, I just see that there is a bias against Iranian players. Again, if Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh and Ezatollahi were from any other country, outside of North Korea, they would be getting many more opportunities.

Does anyone else find it weird that Dejagah regularly posts on Instagram, but never changed his profile quote since moving to Al Arabi?
"Ashkan Dejagah Proud player for fulham Fc and Iran national team! ex-wolfsburg, Hertha BSC Player."
It's strange how he reps every team, and still lists himself as a proud Fulham player... I'm still hoping that at 29, this transfer season, Ashkan makes the right choice and moves back to Europe. It's probably a lost cause, but when we have a player of his quality in Europe, it increases the visibility of all Iranian players, and would really boost the careers of our youngsters.

GK : Akhbari
Dline: Khalzad , Hamoudi
MF: Bakhtiar Rahmani, Soroudh Rafiei, Abdollahzadeh, Ashouri
They got all those free plus Bakhtiar & Soroudh will not be included in list of 6 IPL transfer !! , so rather than 6 IPL players they can get 8.
They are after Soroush Saeidi as well.
