Again, I 100% congratulate Milad, Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh, and Ezatollahi, but it's truly sad that none of our current established players are getting even a sniff of European football at the moment.
Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh and Ezatollahi were scouted playing for the youths, hence why they got easy transfers. They also have lower wage demands initially in Europe.

I know, but my question is why just a few years ago, Euro teams weren't so cheap as they are now in buying established Iranian players.

O-Zone said it's because African players are as good, but cheaper, but why are Japanese and Aussies still getting a decent amount of transfers for higher values? There seems to be a bias against Iranian players, and it seems to be pretty obvious. Hajsafi is 10x the player that Ali Adnan is for Iraq, yet he moves to Udinese in Serie A, and we haven't had a player in Serie A since Rahman Rezaei.

Teams were willing to pay a decent amount for Iranians from 2000-2009. Since then, there has been a major drop-off in interest, and I used to think it was because we missed the 2010 WC, but after our decent showing in Brazil, I just see that there is a bias against Iranian players. Again, if Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh and Ezatollahi were from any other country, outside of North Korea, they would be getting many more opportunities.

Various factors into why Korea, Japanese and Australian get transfers to Europe. The success of these players in European clubs compared to Iranian players is one major reason.

Serie A teams are only allowed 2 Non-EU transfers per year. It used to be one, therefore, it is always unlikely for Iranian players to move there whenever they rather just sign a Brazilian or Chilean etc etc. Udinese is a unique case where they often buy tons and tons of players and filter them to feeders clubs. Their owner also owns Granada and Watford, and they also filter players in between these 3 teams. Udinese probably is the best scouter of talent in the world. Why they have never signed an Iranian player? I don't know, but they are scouting in Turkey. Regardless Udinese's goals are buy many many many players for very cheap and sell them on for a higher price once they have established. They do this very well.

The 2000-2009 generation compared to now is no different. Some of those players were more successful, yes. But we have the same amount of players in Europe compared to then. However, after WC98 there was about 10-15 players in Europe after the WC, but that can pinpointed to Iranian clubs not playing as high of wages compared to now.

Does anyone else find it weird that Dejagah regularly posts on Instagram, but never changed his profile quote since moving to Al Arabi?

"Ashkan Dejagah Proud player for fulham Fc and Iran national team! ex-wolfsburg, Hertha BSC Player."

It's strange how he reps every team, and still lists himself as a proud Fulham player... I'm still hoping that at 29, this transfer season, Ashkan makes the right choice and moves back to Europe. It's probably a lost cause, but when we have a player of his quality in Europe, it increases the visibility of all Iranian players, and would really boost the careers of our youngsters.

J.Hosseini and Nong will join Naft. It's safe to say now that Naft are clear favourites to win the league.

                          They added:
                          GK : Akhbari
                          Dline: Khalzad , Hamoudi
MF: Bakhtiar Rahmani, Soroudh Rafiei, Abdollahzadeh, Ashouri

They got all those free plus Bakhtiar & Soroudh will not be included in list of 6 IPL transfer !! , so rather than 6 IPL players they can get 8.
They are after Soroush Saeidi as well.

There is also the issue of "ghoroor". Rahman Rezaie was willing to play in Perugia, not exactly a contender for the Serie A championship, and was willing to take less pay and build up his career. Many players now a days won't do the same. Look at Sharifi, he apparantly had an offer to move to Zenit and with the blessing of Sepahan decided that they wanted more for his transfer. If they express an interest, why not negotiate? Make a clause, year 1 fine $250,000, if you keep me for year two, three and so on, bigger bonus and Sepahan get's a bigger cut. These kids are too trusting of their respective clubs and agents to do what is best for them...you have to make the deal worth it for Zenit to take a gamble on you, I mean after all, what senior mens trophy has Sharifi won besides IPL which trust me, is not exactly viewed as a top league in many other parts of the world!

Sepahan are idiots for rejecting Zenit's offer. Sharifi can become a good player in Zenit, Sepahan can ask some fee for the next transfer after Zenit, that's how it always works in Europe, stupid management at Sepahan is not even willing to negotiate about these stuff.
