According to Varzesh3, one of Perspolis GK choices is a Portugese who is playing in the USA and has experienced a World Cup. Daniel Fernandez is right now playing with the San Antonio Scorpions and has been part of the 2010 World Cup roster under CQ.
It's a mistake to strip Sosha of the #1 spot at this stage. And it isn't worth getting a foreign keeper to use him as a #2.
Sosha wants to come back with a vengeance and IMO it isn't smart to get rid of a goalie who has fire in his belly. It would be a shame for PP to get rid of him only to see him go somewhere else and shine, like he did in Naft and Foolad.
Unless he is getting suspended. Then we have a different story.

Now, Persepolis needs a good and solid keeper. We don't have #1 and #2. There are not enough time to speculate, Sosha's problems have not been solved and can cripple the team anytime if we rely on him. Any wise manager will be looking for an alternative.
