this game is so boring .... cant watch more than a few min before i go to another tab ....
pretty sure our game vs them is gonna be similar boring affairs ending a scoreless tie..!! the only chance for anything different would be if one side scored an early goal from a set piece or some other fortuitous event ..!

This Morocco team seems really khashen. I haven't watched any of their games. Are they typically this aggressive?
yea man, thats what stood out most to me as well in all of 5-10 min i saw of their todays game ..!

they looked BIG and Freaking Strong in almost all positions all over pitch..!! but done seem to have much teeth in terms of scoring or even creating good scoring chances ...?

we gonna need a beast mode Ashkan badly for this match, if we are to retain any significant bit of possession in MF..!! this is no game for lining up pansy asses, nazok naranji players like Massoud o Torabi, gholizadeh, or even Omid or Amiri ...!! they'll likely get outmuscled run over..!

Agreed on Shojaei but disagree on the rest. Their midfielders are not that physical. I think our boys can hold their own.

this is the reason, why i also think Hosseini and specially Ghafouri should play in our first match. Ghafouri should play half right instead of ashkan and next to Hajisafi in front of the defense and help in the right half of the side, while hajisafi should cover the left side of the field. If Dejagah can play this position and 100% and 90 minutes, perfect, but if not, Ghafouri can start, to have defensive stability fist, ashkan later attack and finish, or other way around (depending on tactic).

i think amrabat and co. are not so fast in the center, hosseini is mor physical and can handle it..

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi

we really coulda used a PAG/Hossaini combo CB in this game..!!
i feel were most vulnerable to concede against them off of a Header or a in-box Deflection from a CK, Cross or Set piece of sorts..!! Hossani is a beast at clearing away those aerial threats.... no one else can even come close to his abilities on those fronts..! also he is a Strong and Stout tackler who can hold his own against or even physically harass Moroccan narekhar players..!!
I also think Vouria would make a far more convincing RB for this game...!! Ramin is yet another one of our players who can be easily blown off the ball and dominated physically and even skillfully while trying to track back to help theD ..!!

with those 2missing, i can only assume CQ is opting for Pace and very intense Counter-attacking tactics .... and i suppose he is hoping to outscore the moroccans for the win..??

Rezaeian is definitely the better defender in terms of physicality. Vouria always loses physical battles in defense like he did 8 times against Uzbekistan.

Everybody is saying that we are going to use counter attacks against morocco... BUT wasnt that the game plan for Nigeria in 2014 too? Didnt work out so well i guess ahahhahaa
So perhaps we win again the award of the most boring game in the WC18!

No. The game plan was to score on set pieces against Nigeria. No one sets up a team to counter against Nigeria because they are the most fit team on the planet most likely. CQ's plan against Nigeria was "Here is the ball. I know Nigeria only knows how to counter, try to score." It worked pretty well and if Gucci's header went in or our other handful of chances it would have been a perfect tactic.

Getting really tired of hearing uneducated opinions about our team. This is a completely different team from World Cup 2014. That team was garbage and had nobody capable on the offensive end except for Gucci. And the Nigeria team we played against was very different from Morocco. They beat Bosnia comfortably and gave Argentina their second toughest match in the tournament. I don't know why you thought comparing our team against Morocco to the one against Nigeria was an intelligent or informed comparison.
